Awesome as always, I currently have a CZ455 16” fluted in from new love it. I used to have a CZ452 Style, shot the hell out of it, always used to dry fire to release the spring when putting it away, no real problems with that except the firing pin started mushroom over ever so slightly on the tip, so nowadays when putting gun away I just hold the trigger pulled when closing the bolt so the spring tension is released but the pin doesn’t slap into the back of the barrel, far better way of doing it so the firing pin tip hasn’t mushroomed over.

Had mine for over a year and it flatters my skills. Did keep to the test RWS ammo after other makes prevented extraction.

Nice video. 👍 A comparison between this one and the standard Varmint (with and without match-chamber) would be extremely interesting!

Great review 👍I have the same stick in the Savage .22. Very accurate, I took a sand paper band to thin out the pistol grip..... pure sweetness 😄

Chris, could you make a specific video to teach us how to clean and grease our cz 457? Greetings from Spain!

Great review as always Chris 👏. Just hope the proposed lead ban does not suck the joy and fun out all the .22’s

The most enjoyable shooting calibre, nothing quite like shooting .22lr at range.

👍👍 Going to pick one up(if I can find one) to go along with the Jaguar which I really like. Had planned to pick up a Varmint MTR but I can not find out if the barrel is threaded. Even asked CZ-USA but no response in over seven days. Keep 'um comin'. JimE

Just on the magazines, does anyone have an old Brno model 2 and have ejection problems with the plastic CZ magazines?

@chrisparkin431 wow, guess I didn't catch the barrel size. A simple yes or no would have worked as well though.
