I still don't follow why shopping malls have a no filming policy exterior to the shops-they are not too far removed from your average public high street. This trend was probably introduced a long time ago, prior to the onset of mass mobile phone ownership, in order to control media sources turning up without permission-it just hasn't been updated or reviewed.
