Hey Pauline, Would you tell me what “Sasher or Weaver” to use to make Straps for my Quilted Bags? I would want to put batting in same foe strength. Thanks, Mary 🍀
Hi Mary, You will need the Bag Straper Sashers to do your bag straps as they are designed to allow for Batting or foam to go through with the fabric. You can find them on our website. enjoy . Pauline
Pauline why do you turn the fabric upside down. meaning the bottom unfolded side up. and put it through the sasher. and run the iron across it to create the bias tape?
Marion I find when I make the 1/4" and the 1/8" bias strips with my sasher tools the fold edges are best facing down as the fold holds much better as it is such a small turn under. I have the fold with the raw edges facing up for all other sizes as it is a much larger fold and it hols perfect. Cheers Pauline
@@PQWQuilting Thank You Pauline for this information clearing it up for me. It will be helpful when I start to making sashings this way they will turn out beautifully hopefully.
