I've noticed in a lot of renovated old homes there aren't until the parents have passed away. Thank you for doing it when your Momma can enjoy it too. Here like there once the parents get old they are thrown away and forgotten.

That wall paper wouldn't last. It will become yellowish and later peel off. More work to take them out later. It is better to paint the walls.
Cleaning up
Paint ceilings
Paint walls
Paint trim
Repair and paint anything broken
Put everything away
Clean the yard
Do it all over again!
Wash the walls and ceilings before you repair and paint them.
