Being a sugar addict my entire life, the consequence is bad dental health. I have a large number of implants at the back of my mouth but now catastrophically we removed seven teeth and placed two additional implants into my lower jaw in one session. This was the inspiration for the song.
Now there are a few months to wait for healing, and then it's more expensive yet bridgework across the existing implants and now the new ones. Sheesh!
This is the initial version written, and recorded about three hours after the appointment finished. It's obviously rudimentary and unpolished, but it is the core of a reasonably good song I think. My other challenges make it difficult for me to record a decent version, but I'm working on it.
