For me it was invaluable to have immune to reverse control for the first phase. I couldn’t dex the sp1 in time. Once I did that, rest of fight fell into place. I used Kitty plus Emma. Cool to revisit it. Used a few revives for sure. Know the task. How to get them done in time, she takes her own damage. You’ll get it done. Don’t get frustrated on revives. Most solos are after folks have gotten use to each phase, then they do the solo run. And they are very talented.
Thank you for the revisit. It really helped a lot. For the path, I used Angela. She is amazing and will clear the whole Icarus path. For the boss, Professor X and Juggernaut were my MVPs. Juggernaut especially can help with landing intercepts due to his unstoppable buffs. Although I had to use 5 L2 revivies but I was able to clear Act 7.2
for any players in 2023. kitty pride with emma frost synergy is AMAZING for this fight. I had a r3 kitty and she tore thru this. I had her awaken ability so even if i got punished during my phase i took no damage. Overall Kitty solo'd this boss for me
I've got a better video, just stock up on revives and keep hitting her until she's dead. The first phase is impossible to get through, so just forget about all this strategy and just hit her and revive until you're done.
I just came back to the game after taking about 16 months off. Used to use your tutorials nonstop to help me through story progression. My first challenge back was Gwenmaster. Just watched your tutorial over and over and over for the last two days. I took the juiced path and just took her down, losing Nick Fury once and having to use a single revive on Hercules. I’m late to the party, but I’m here to share the roster that worked for me. I used a team of King Groot (I used deathless King Groot, but I think regular would work), Kitty Pryde, Emma Frost, Ghost (just for Kitty Pryde synergy), and Viv Vision (I only used her for the fights before the boss). Kitty crushed the fight up until Arkus’ Retro Cape where you have to gain armour breaks, since I kept dying to coldsnap (I’m not especially good at the game) so I used Emma Frost, who’s immune to coldsnap. Then I got stuck on Iron Man’s flashy Aviators, which is where I used King Groot to apply armour breaks to prevent Gwenmaster from gaining any Armour ups. By then she was low enough health that breaking that plot armour dealt the finding blow.
I’m stuck at this fight for 4 days now. 57 revives later and no progress. I followed your easy path video (bannedaid) and am stuck since Saturday. I can’t get thru the mutant plot armor. 😢
@@MCOCNOOB I am. I have ProfX 6r2 unduped. Did the entire 1st cycle mutant thru tech. Burn a bunch of revives but am back to the mutant phase. Gwen is at 30% health. 8 more revives later, she’s at 45% health now. I can’t seem to have my timing down when I get the 4th prowess or the timer runs out and she kills me with her sp2. So, I been stuck there since.
Hahaha the same i spent 1200 runs in revives this means that I paid for the 10 US offer three times (thanks to kabam for the additional runs were around 410 per purchase) but finally defeat gwen master .. was a great satisfaction
@@ixtargaryen Really? I didn't get through her phase 1 of plot armor even one time, but I just kept reviving, wore her down and killed her. Why is she healing for you? I didn't see her heal at all.
I completed all phases and back to Emma frost stage with 25% health left, but I can't get her down, she keeps regenerating like crazy when I use my Special Attack and now she is back to 35% health.
Just use juggernaut and your done immune to reverse controls deals tons of damage to go through the invisible woman phase faster and with his relic he also gains a power gain buff like every 15 secs which helps to do the dr doom phase easily too

Yeah i used this but the game didn't let me have that happen twice now 10 armor breaks and still got hit by that sphere and had 4 prowess and the same again
Update for current: use nick fury for path and then Juggs for Gwen with hulk as back up. I used 1 total revive. Both 6* rank 3 with immortal hulk being 6* rank 1. Juggs crushed her.
I personally will never ever touch act 6 ever again. That GM fight was much much much worse than Gwen, Kang, Superior Kang. All doable. I was stuck at Gwen and specifically the first phase. As soon as reverse control immune…bam. Rest of act 7 was fun and straightforward. Kang fights hard. But so much easier for me than GM. And actually kind of fun. I see act 6 and GM as sadly necesssry bluck to get Thronebreaker and move on. Good riddance… move on.
Hi I really have a doubt when playing with Magneto for the fight with ultron my prowess are increased but when ultron uses sp automatically magneto has to gain 1 bar of power which is not able. Why so ?
Why is it that every video anyone posts the intercepts work 99% of the time? Yet when you need to intercept, they don't play along at all. I'm getting light intercepted by them like crazy. Even if I try the safer light intercept, some of my characters have a very short light attack reach and completely miss them leaving me open to get drilled. She's also going unblockable and tripling in size sometimes? Edit: Hardest part for me was last phase. Baiting a heavy is near impossible when she's unblockable. I spent about 300 units reviving over and over until she was done, only to find out that I didn't get credit for the 7 for 7 Carina's challenge?!? I had done all the way up to the one prior, didn't know I needed to do them in order, such BS. I skipped the one prior because I literally didn't have viable 7 stars for the paths, so I skipped it to the next one. Please, learn from my mistake. The 7 for 7 Challenge must be done IN ORDER.
The tech phase is so stupid, she has decreased defuff time so you cant parry her without the right masteries and she gets an autoblock passive every 2 seconds and heavy intercepts dont remove an armour charge
Im doing 7 for 7 challenge and i used cheelith for gwenmaster 😂 and i will say only i thing she got rekt 😂 in second phase cheelith took her down to like 18 percent and then in the mystic phase she died 😂 super fun fight ngl and thanks to the legend the man himself mcoc noob for helping out ❤
So I got her down to 75 health and it was weird I could not get her to enter the skill phase she just stayed in the mutant phase also, I took all the damage from the SP2 was that anybody be able to help me out here?
This video is out of date or unclear on the mechanics. Playing for over an hour right now with a 6* rank 5 awakened Doom and SPs do not generate any SP in Gwenpool. Only basic attacks generate any SP. I've watched the video's Colossus generate SP in Gwenpool in this video and simultaneously drain his own SP. I've repeatedly done that in my own game and Gwenpool gains no SP. And good luck getting her to 4 prowess in the timer. I've spent over 100 revives and gotten her to 4 prowess maybe twice.
i can honestly say, after completely exploring 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3, this is by far the most annoying fight in the entire game. the last phase is the absolute worst

LOL, this fight is ridiculous. I couldn't get past Plot Armor Phase 1. I just used 5 days worth of earned revives and potions to wear her down and kill her with Hercules. It would've been fun to use all the different strategy across the 6 phases in this fight. But they made the first phase absolutely impossible. You can't stun her, which GREATLY slows down the fight. And you can't dodge her SP1 because it happens so fast that you don't know when to use reverse controls. And they want you to do this FOUR TIMES before a 30-SECOND timer expires?! WHAT?! How about just ONE time, and then we might have a fighting chance. This phase is absolutely impossible. Plus they don't even show you the 30 seconds counting down, so you have no idea how you're doing in terms of time. No, the little BAR moving doesn't help AT ALL. I need to see the NUMBER to know how I'm doing on time or it's USELESS to me. This is the worst designed boss in the game, bar none. You don't get to play her in the way that was intended at all, because they put an impossible challenge up as the very first fight in the cycle.

Use someone like og ironman man on the mister sinister path, I one shot the whole path with og ironman and only lost about 10% health

I think this fight is glitched right now, I had 4 prowess on her and dexed her sp1 after and the plot armour didn’t destroy for Emma’s leggings
In none of these phases, she was regenerating! I was fighting her today and in every phase, she's regenerating like crazy, like about 4k health!. Why?
It was a different path. I took the path with no extra nodes on gwenpool
Same here. Also the Parry L L L L on Iron Man's plot armour node doesn't work. This combo no longer removes the armor breaks. Fight maybe bugged
