Chris and sons, I never knew your wife and mother, but, I could tell from this video that she was a really great lady. Our condolences to you from my family to yours. The pain that you feel now, although unbearable, will subside. You will get stronger everyday. May you guys have peace.
Speachless... This crazy world definitely needs more series like this one just to keep believing in it and find happines living in it. Amazing and wonderful job done!!!
These videos have all the things i am passionate about: Music, cinematography, bikes, living in the country, relationships with family/friends/girlfriend. They're beautiful, really.
I will be praying for Chris and Karen's family. Ride on Chris and fulfill her wishes. I don't know you but you can just watch this video and see how much you two loved each other. That will last forever even though she is gone now, a very rare gem.
Whenever I see a custom build I always end up wondering more about the builder's story than the bike's story. Building a bike is an extension of the soul- it's great to see such a well done film about the beautiful people behind that beautiful bike. Thanks for sharing.
I lost my father few months ago. He had cancer too. I sold his Norge but was able to keep his V35 and R65. Motorbikes were our passion, something we shared and would always talk about. I love riding my bikes, I love my father. Thank you Stories of Bike.
Beautiful story..... Lost my wife to cancer in 02, my children, my bike and my biker family have been my salvation. God bless you and your family Chris
I stupidly sold my Bonnie 35 years ago when I inadvertently became a dad. When/if I get enough dosh to get another old Triumph, this Tiger is the way I'll model her. Thankyou for these stories.....they're keeping me going. It's beautiful to see how people can care so much for each other.
I feel for them on the cancer thing, I lost my bladder to it last year and have another year or more before I can be pretty sure it'll be gone for good. Thinking about getting back on my bikes kept me going, even if it took longer than I hoped.
Chris...my deepest condolences to you and your boys...truly a beautiful story of romance and honor when it comes to showing how much you loved your wife. Beautiful my friend...keep riding and God bless your soul
Chris, your bike is nothing short of amazing. You and your wife are awe inspiring. The hardships you have to endure have really pulled you both to new heights and I wish you all the blessings life has to offer. Stay strong and know that my thoughts are with you both!
I can't stop watching these stories of bike videos over and over. Its sort of like the petrolicious channel, just awesome stories about humans and machines, and the tales of both.
On the off chance you read this, Chris, I wish you all the best, mate. Your story was an amazing one, and as someone who's new to the community, seeing the beautiful relationship between you, Karen and your bikes really hit me to the core and help mellow me a bit. I hope you're doing well, I hope your family is doing well and I hope you keep on doing what you and Karen loved doing. Thanks for sharing this with us, mate. Take care.
What a beautiful family with such hearts of gold. It's such a rarity to find two ppl who love each other so unconditionally. Rest in peace, Karen. I hope you're enjoying time well with God now.
I'm a lifelong motorbike rider and I'm amazed at the quality of your 'Stories of the Bike' series, which are deeply moving to me. My eyes are wet reading of Karen's passing, and I also grieve for her husbands loss, touched by the story of their love for each other. Karen left Chris with two proud sons, so in many ways, a part of her is still here. I wish all the best for you guys.
Thank you for sharing this with me and us. Please know that we are not mortal humans with a spiritual experience but immortal souls with a human experience. God bless you.
Cam, you have absolutely outdone yourself. You couldn't have told the story of Chris and Karen, two of the SCR family's most wonderful and beautiful people any better. It filled me with such emotion, that the tears just wouldn't hold back. Love you guys!
great bike, great story, great people. the joy of two wheels and a loved one. fingers and toes crossed folks, stay strong and live every day for what it is Your life x
If you ask me it's a compliment :-) I wish you two all the best in life. I came for an easy inspiration for my own bike, and left with one smiling and one crying eye. Didn't expect this. So really; thank you.
Beautiful bike and beautiful family. You are doulble lucky my friend.I am rebuilding my 68 bonneville rigid and hope to be riding again soon.Good luck and enjoy. From Nova Scotia,Canada.
It's really an awesome story to tell, brought me to tears. Chris's Triumph is great, but the story that comes behind it is much more awesome. Thank you for sharing.
Inspiring, passionate, and heartbreaking. Stories such as these with interesting and real people are so invaluable to the motorcycle community as well as the world. Live life with passion. I hope Chris continues to build! Condolences...
The Story telling is so beautiful here, with a very apt music in the background and the right touch of emotions. It delivers more than a couple of hours of film would. Keep making them guys! Thanks.
What a beautiful video..not gonna lie, I had tears in my eyes to read rest in peace Karen..it's really amazing how passion for something makes you feel about somebody you never met, somebody you never knew. I really wish he keeps on riding. Rest in peace Karen :)
Beautiful and moving. Chris: hope you are well and living life as Karen would have wished. I lost my wife to cancer two years ago. One of my riding mates lost his wife to cancer a month later. We all supported each other during those difficult times. We ride on. I now have a wonderful woman in my life, grateful to have found love again. She loves to ride on the back of my GS and we hope to ride many more years together. But as we both know, there is no guarantee, and we make the best of the NOW. Love and peace to you mate.
one of the best short stories in youtube... it's got all the elements, cinematography, music, the true to life story... I pray that Chris has found peace after Karen passed away. ride on bro... and I wish Stories of Bike would someday again post new videos, thank you
I also love riding, when am on my bike every thing seem balance around me.how I wish I had friends like both of you.your story touched deep into my heart,I hope your love continue to to heal each other.much Love from Florida
This is so powerful! One thing is that they have a sad, but also beautiful story. The other thing is how you manage to capture it with this video! After watching this I had tears in my eyes, as well as a smile on my face. So powerful to watch.
My favorite episode so far, honestly teared up near the end with the talk of cancer and her saying that she hopes he'll still ride should anything happen.
Interesting comment on fragility. Surely to experience true love, you have to allow yourself to be vulnerable,to trust, risk being hurt etc. The rewards for such courage and mutual understanding is what I've had the pleasure to watch here. Beautiful and inspirational.
This story broke my heart , love of a man to his soul mate .the triumph hardtail is a lasting memory of Karen, my thoughts are with you Chris. Take care 👍.
after having seen this video. when came out, for different reasons, today I revisited and reviewed it: so sad to find out about Karen... only comforted to see the love that surrounded her and the certainty of the moments lived to the full. My deepest condolences too the family. Keep riding
Caren and Chris I truly wish you all the health and happiness in the world. I will pray for you and I know you can beat this. I feel for you both and I hope that all works out in the end. Chris Awesome bike my friend. Best of luck down the road.
I unexpectedly found this channel and I am so glad that I did. The stories and experiences shared are incredible. Chris, my sincerest condolences to you and your family.
Just recently found out about your videos. Going through all of them. Love that you did these. Sorry to hear she lost her battle with cancer. Happy that she got all the experiences she had in her life with her man and family. I'm thinking of all the guys that feel they have to give up riding because they get into a relationship, they don't realize the mistake they're making.
Karen is still fighting on. She had some good news later last year, but is back onto the chemo at the moment. I still hope will all my heart that she beats this.
That video gave me a boost in strength and inspiration to fight on against my illness! ! Best of luck to the Atkinson family, and many thanks! Sofus Pedersen Denmark.

I love the free spirited karma .lm going to do some road tripping myself after all of 40 yrs riding time to see more of this country on my Victory CC Thanks!!!
Transcends the motorcycle and gives us a wonderful portrait of passion, vulnerability and love. Story telling at its finest.
Thank you. The world IS crazy, but there are still stories like this that show why we're here for one and other.
Stories of Bike .....and in the rare event someone has such a story, how does one contact Stories of Bike and get a yay or nay? Thanks in advance.

True Romance, wishing you the best. And on another note somebody is cutting onions in this house.

Thats a beautiful bike, the frame is perfect, the drop and stretch is just right.
I feel for them on the cancer thing, I lost my bladder to it last year and have another year or more before I can be pretty sure it'll be gone for good. Thinking about getting back on my bikes kept me going, even if it took longer than I hoped.

I always come back to this from time to time. Life so short. Ride hard love harder.
My heart broke at the end when I read "rest in peace, Karen"... What a beautiful couple. Ride on, Chris. God bless.
Brilliant. It's not about bikes. it's about life. We have many things to deal with in out lives. This could be one of them.
Pity it was not about bikes
Great couple and great bike....nothing better than old brit iron.
I can't stop watching these stories of bike videos over and over. Its sort of like the petrolicious channel, just awesome stories about humans and machines, and the tales of both.
