We are in Charlotte, NC for the weekend! We check out the best and fun things to do as well as try all the amazing food spots throughout the city. We walk around and explore Uptown and NoDa as well as head to the U.S National White Water Center. We get to eat at Haberdish, Mac's Speedshop and JJ's Redhots.

Visited family there (son and step-son both ended up there) and its amazing. Been back a couple of more times and now I'm looking at a possible more there. NY (Long Island) is just out of control expensive.

I'm sure the locals steered you to Macs but if you want really good bbq, you need to get out of Charlotte. If you ever come back, try Midwood Smokehouse or McCoy's next time.
