Hey Trevin, I'm a bit confused about the profits you made. At 1:53 you show on your TikTok page that you made $21K in sales & $2100 in profit. However, about 5 minutes later in your video, you mentioned again the $21K in sales figure... but this time you said you made $8K in profits (instead of the $2100 profit you showed earlier on your TikTok page). If you did made $8K in profits, then why did it show $2100 in profits on your TikTok page (alongside the $21K in sales)?
the $2100 you are seeing at that time stamp is revenue my affiliates generated.
@@TrevinPeterson If that is the money that you made from people that are your affiliates, then where does it show the $8000 you personally made in commissions that month? I'm not doubting you, but I just wanted to see where it shows you made $8K in commissions from the $21K in sales that month. It seems like you would've shown that important stat in the video.
@@Quickdraw1111 no platforms will show you what your profit is. That is your responsibility to calculate and add up which is what I did. Take sales and subtract fees, ads, and COGS which then leaves you left with profit

You initially came into TikTok with a brand, but what about those who don’t have a brand yet. How would I go about creating a brand, & what could I even sell?
Start exactly how I did. Build a brand with Amazon FBA first and then build on tiktok. That is what my entire youtube channel is about and what I teach in our inner circle groups.

Question about Amazon FBA: Trevin, do you recommend hiring a third party inspection company to inspect your goods before paying your supplier? I was told that they make sure your goods don't have any defects before leaving the factory.
Hey Mark! You can definitely do that for an extra sense of security. Also helps if you product is more complex and has potential to have issues. The sourcing team I use inspects my products to make sure quality is under control!

Sell on amazon. Will be a lot easier since anyone can sell on the marketplace.

@Longuro it happened to me this week. I couldn't understand. It was such simple fix. I entered my address "Terrace" on Tiktok shop the ITIN form abbreviated "Ter". Tiktok shop system is sensitive. Also make sure your DL ID is clear and Horizontal. Then, I was approved.

These people who make all this money supposedly always have the emptiest and sparse looking homes ots rather wierd ...would expect to see lavish furniture a 5000 dollar pc set up 5 screens etc not a 35$ book shelf and some posters you can buy off Amazon for 10$ but maybe I just look at everything
