This is one of my favorite pieces in the entire The Planets collection. It’s super fun, and I can just imagine little swallows and small birds flitting around in the sky. Jupiter and Venus are my other favorites.
All of a sudden a fly shows up .43 The winged messenger? I'm reminded of Ann Akiko Meyers who had to shew a bee away with her bow during a concert. Live bugs Bunny. S'all good luck.
@@me_is_hobo well Sherlock, he wrote this piece based on the Greek mythological character Mercury with fast winged shoes. Having nothing to do with the orbit speed.
@@matthewleeds9242 actually it has everything to do with orbital speed, the Greek God Mercury is based on the actual planet Mercury and the planet orbits 47 kilometres per second - very quick for a planetary body, around our sun, this is why Mercury is the quickest of all the gods of the pantheon in the mythology.
There is no piccolo clarinet. In the instrumentation, there are only three clarinets in Bb, switching to A (only a semitone lower), and one bass clarinet. Piccolo clarinets are keyed in Ab, Eb, and D. There aren't any here.

French horns are probably my favorite classical instrument, but by god I am loving this guy with the handlebar mustache playing the flute!!
Woah, now that's a stache! LOL
Look at this absolute dynamic duo
2:14
No body wants to talk about the flute with the amazing mustache
Thanks for this Divine Orchestra under the influence of Mercury
Merci from France 🙏🙏🙏🌈
this is amazing
1:41 is the Climax of Mercury's incredible message in music!
molto allegro. Brava!
pieza infravalorada, pero que yo adoro con mi corazón =)

Mercury. The planet that orbits the Sun in 88 days has a fast piece of music!

@@khulanitshona6806and for anyone wondering how they knew, well it goes back and forth quickly in the night sky
Approx 30 secs in, I've always wondered if there's morse code in there ?
It is meant to represent morse code, but there is no actual message in there :/
Dope conductor
great performance!
3:52 is when Mercury skipped away
Beautiful.
capolavoro del 900
i wish we could’ve seen the glockenspiel player
Same, as a percussionist it’s always a let down when most visual recordings mainly focus on non-percussionists
There is no glockenspiel but a celesta.
1:06 😮😮😮😮
'News For the deaf' pleas.
2:14 be like: one legendary guy with a big moustache and another with a really exaggerated face
2:40 my mind
Modern day petroglyphs in. F (key): "Sierra Nevada"
So the beginning of this is just what John Williams stole for Harry Potter I guess
Who else has to watch this for school.
FRR
Me rip
Currently trying to write in dynamics for my holst piece audition

Les mek du collège Bernard de ventadour qui le ré regardent zetes bizarre sa sert à rien els devoirs
Terrible upload, can barely hear it at computer's highest volume setting.
@Bella Ozard Must be my computer. I can hear conversations across the street.
I can't hear anything on mine either terrible not with headphones either terrible ugh ugh ugh
@@AntiWoke_Autistic you have to turn the yt volume up not the computer volume
Ironically this the loudest ones Ive heard compared to others
It's a quiet movement. Stringed instruments have mutes on. If you heard it in context, in real life, you'd be leaning forward in your seat.
I hate this I’m just watching for school
Horrível
Crítica foda 👍
