Quia Sunt Malleo (We Are the Hammer) is a Warhammer 40K music composed and produced by Legio Symphonica as the main theme of "Death & Duty", a W40K fan made mod for the game Squads and led by Chapter Master Valrak. The music is focused on the 31st Cadian Shock Troop of the Imperial Guard.

@@ravenstrategist1325 to be frank I don't do the translation myself, I get help from someone who speaks latin since I don't know a lot about latin myself ^^ Thanks for the feedback I'll tell him about it!
@@LegioSymphonica Don't worry about it I love the music and the idea of your channel. I provived "Murus" which is the correct one for all interpretations and "Limes" that means "Limit" however I provided it because the Roman Empire had a massive system of fortifications built from today's Netherlands to the Black Sea. I thought the term fits with Cadia's and its satellite planets and moons purpose.
I've never been able to aptly describe to non-WH40K fans how a FICTIONAL setting can give me actual real world motivation, but it's stuff like this that drives home the point, the feeling. It's literally the singular worst case scenario for mankind and yet we ENDURE, we rage against the dying of the light.....and we die standing. In a modern world so full of triviality, waste, and distraction I find a quiet solace knowing there are others out there who find the selfless and desperate stories of 40k as inspiring as I do. A piece of us lives through the stories we tell and by the throne this story, that of 40K is so uplifting BECAUSE it is so dark. But humanity holds.....the......line
Best comment ever. Nothing to add. "we rage against the dying of the light", love that quote too, I remember when I first heard it, in french I found it even more scarier. Reading such comment is the best reward I could ask for, because it gives me the feeling that someone has understood my vision, what I tried to despict through my music. I feel this exact same thing. I am inspired by how this fictional version of humanity fights on despite everything being against them. I am inspired by the fictional stories of fictional heroes and yet they seem so real and so alive. The story of Cadia is my favourite by far, how Humanity kept fighting even in the darkest of nights. How mankind kept defying the darkness, despite the planet itself being destroyed. It tugs at my heart strings, and listening to this song now makes me feel even better about the fact that I was born now, and that I was born human
Something something knowing it's pointless but choosing to fight regardless because though we may be forgotten tomorrow we shall be remembered today as lone stones in an avalanche that changed the course of history

In my opinion, alongside Sol Invictus and Praetores De Sanctus Pella, this song is one of the magnum opus of the Legio Symphonica, and my personal favorite of the bunch. This one is the most heroic and brave epic tale of soldiers the Empire can offer
Dear author! This music video was the most amazing I've seen in the 40,000 Warhammer universe in recent memory. Tears welling in my eyes. Goose bumps ran through my body. And the inspired words of the High Gothic still resonate in my head. Please do not stop! Keep creating!

Criminally underrated channel, my wife asked me about wh49k and this video song and lyrics were one of the examples I used to convey the essence of the Imperium. She liked it despite generally hating "robots shooting in space"

It has been many years since I last had to draw upon what I had once learned about the Latin language, and even though I found a few ..oddities, these only lend character to the piece since Gothic is merely based on Latin, but it isn't the same. As such I applaud your effort in creating something so thematically fitting. Well done.

Just discovered your awesome work. It really does bring a tear to my eyes to see how far we can get with a fictional universe.
I cannot describe it better than how Pureblood Patriot putted it one year ago. This universe is a real source of inspiration.
Despite everything we've been through, all those who died and will continue to die, all this desperation and loss, we hold, and will forever hold the line.
Because the Emperor is the loving Father of Mankind, this light that shines in the darkest corners of universe and brings warmth to those in need, the single greatest and noblest one of our kind.
And for all he's been through for us, it is our duty to defend and die for him and his realm. For such a cause, only in death does duty end.

So, for some reason after listening to this after i found it yesterday. I kinda wanna re-download a few 40k games i have as i recently got into warhammer 40k and just kill heretics. I love how to sounds really epic, and i dont even know how to express further.

It is planed, but the team of the Exodite and myself are still figuring out what would be the best plan to release the OST. It will be set in a few days I think ;)
