    Any laptop that advertises liquid metal that's made on an assembly line is a non-starter for me.

      I don’t think it is Liquid Metal from the factory as it had no cpu gasket surround to hold the Liquid Metal in place like the ps5 does for example. So the Liquid Metal would just escape out the sides.
      I think my customer tried to do it themselves.

    That seems like an Asus ROG laptop. If that is the case, some came with liquid metal applied from the factory (only on the CPU apparently). Mine did (R9 - RTX3070) and that's scared me off from opening it and repasting it

      @@Aetost yes it is a rog, there’s no cpu surround though that would hold the Liquid Metal in place. It would just squirt out the side of the heat sink
