Thanks again Sean, a saddle is probably going to be my next investment for hunting. Thanks for showing and sharing the things that you find helps you stay longer and be more productive in the woods. Good shooting and gods blessings to the family of SMOA 👍🇺🇸

I'm not sure if I will have any place to go hunting again, but I'm liking the video to help out the algorithm.

Sean..thanks for this.I am still using a prusick not on my rope (think it is 8mm or 9mm)that came with my SOP harness but it is hard to slide that if I want to adjust on fly. Was considering the RM2 but not sure what to do.?I guess there is no way to make a prusick slide easier and still stay tight and safe.?

The rope man 1 is amazing. The 2 not so much. Consider a 1 and get a fatter rope if you need to. God bless you

Im interested in getting my first saddle....kinda on a budget...is there a benefit to this over the prussik knot that comes standard on the tether?

You can start with just the knot, but eventually you'll want a rope man. It's a lot easier and versatile.

Ropeman 2 shredded my rope in less than 1 season so i went back to my ropeman 1 on 8mm oplux and have 2 seasons on it with never an issue outta it even tho its outta spec still works great I think it depends on style carabiner ur using cause the tri lock i run now fits 8mm just as tight as tethrds original ropes because its designed with an over size shank it holds the rope tighter in the ropeman than just say a black diamond does

You should look into the roll n lock. Has a much higher rating than the Kong and it can be taken off just like the ropeman 1. I use one and it's nice because it doubles as a pulley and has come in handy pulling a deer up a hill.

I'm no expert but you do not have to feed the rope through on the Kong duck. It literally goes on just like the ropeman

I use Rope man 1 on my 8mm. Works great for me. But I don’t want to promote something on here that isn’t recommended by the manufacturer. So please use caution.
