I’ve never liked a RUclips video before until now
I have found that slamming the wheel into a curb works really good too
When you just need quick easy advice on something.. it’s videos like this that make RUclips great!!! Thanks mate 🙏🏼 👍🏻
Happy to help GED! Yes its kinda nice to help out people esp when it saves people time or money.
Great demo, You even added the "remove the wheel" idea.👌 I looked at a few videos before this and there are some really brutal ideas out there but finally someone with a brain thank you for sharing.
Glad it helped... nobody wants to scratch or otherwise damage the finish of the rims.
Genius! Thank you!
Brilliant. I'm about to do it! Tqvm for sharing
Great vid
I have an old iPhone separator tool (plastic) that will probably work just as well, which I will try. Getting some new caps in a couple of days. Great video.
For those who didn't make it with these tools: I used some aluminum thin and flat hair clips, which worked way better, as the material is more playable and less breakable. Thanks for the video and good luck!
Thank you so much for this!
Glad it was helpful Lizett!
So just to be clear Don't use a Hammer and a Chisel??🧐
LMAO, I pinned your comment for excellence!
😂
😂😂
You are definitely the man 🫶🏽
This is great, I got those same silver/blue center caps!
How do you like the car so far??
Mannnn you’re a G! Thank you lol
My man💯💯
Thank you!!! Very helpful
You’re welcome thank you for nice comment!
Trying this tomorrow morning
Just used the dental floss sticks, worked great thanks!
Glad it helped you out
ok I'll try this tommorow
A dynamic pull!
Hallo Mike.
Maybe You can help me.
I have a 350 Mercedes with the M272 . My problem is that when the motor is worm I hear a knocking noise from the left side of the car wen standing on the front.
Do you have the same noise?
My car have 130000 km on the clock.
Sorry for my English
Thanks for your videos.
Boom, like that you’ve helped thousands! Right when it cut to you saying smash the like I did so😂
I'm glad it helped.
Its one of those things once you figure it out its nice to share with the community. 😎
legend thank you
Thank you! I'm the magician of Galt Ca.
"Mash that 'like' button! Now!" Oh I mashed it alright. Handy trick for my S212!
Haha, so did I!
Clever methods - I'm going to try this on my Jeep, which so far all I could find on pulling out center cap was jimmying it with a flat head screwdriver...
If you use a screw driver you risk marking up the wheel finish.
Easiest way thanks 💫
You’re welcome 😊 Hope this helped Chris!
You are f* cking crazy! Thanks Dude! 😂❤
Tryed it and now its completely jammed with cardbord stuck in the seal, thanks alot buddy, only joking it worked.
Best wishes to the youtuber, and similar product in DewFlew
Hot glue works great too. mine were too tight to fit anything in. but I hot glue something to it and yaked it out
Thats one way to do it. LOL
Nice idea. Show everyone how to steal my AMG caps. I'm sick of buying new ones every year.
THANK YOU! I used a metal credit card, did the same thing
Good tip with the metal credit card!
Thank you! That was genius!!
Dynamic pull
Good Job, I like your suggestions I’m going to try the cardboard way first 👍 unlike another video I’ve just finished watching where the guy used a screw driver with insulating tape on the end and a hammer, guess what and unsurprisingly damaged his nice alloys 🙄 I would think there is only any point posting a video on You Tube and that’s if it’s helpful, showing you how to damage your wheels is not helpful at all.
Thanks again for your neat video, off to fit my wheel caps 😀
Update: I used the cardboard option, it worked an absolute treat and took less than 10 minutes to do all 4 👍
Thanks Mike!
I'm glad the cardboard option worked! Its a good way to do it without any scratches.
Why do my wheel caps have this weird white fluid like marks on them? How can I fix that, will I have to replace it? Please help
Probably from road salt?
No tools hmm isn’t toothpicks a tool 😂😂😂😂 Actually really nice trick I taking this with me whenever I need to remove my caps 👍
MB212 I enjoy your videos very much! Yes a toothpick is a toothpick...
Use small suction cup
Safer and faster
Does this work as good on older models?
Which model/year?
Mikee
Dayyuuummmn i didnt expect that beard lol looking like a total daddy
You're the best Fresh Love!
Use suction cup and pull staright out.
Mine are so tight I can’t even fit cardboard in between that space.
Ah mine seems to have zero space..neither a piece of cardboard nor the floss method worked..guess im going to have to jack the car up and remove the wheels 😢
Shoutout to all RUclips MacGyver!
I try again and again but th thootpik its broken😪😪😪
IDK bro others in comments say its working for them.
I just used an old gift card
Guys, help me save some money here, are these hubcaps made out of metal or just plastic? $80 for OEM and $20 for some aftermarket ABS.
Make sure you like th video... the OEM as plastic on mine.
00:33 I did
Thank you Feras
Maybe a guitar pick would work better
wish the kids that stole mine used these methods
LMAO did they scratch your wheels??
@@mikeicee looks like they used a screw driver to pry them off, literally a few days after I bought them.
@@liamisic911 Bro sorry to hear that... the $550 illuminated star can be removed like a jar lid.
Ich nutze ein Saugnapf

If you are going to replace them, can't you just hit the center with a hammer? No damage to the rim lol
LOL but they shaped like bubble so you risk the screw driver of punch scrapping to the wheel if you dont hit hard enough to get through the plastic.
@@mikeicee Well then an electric driller will do the job 😎
@@wall-e7726 Just dont drill too far. Esp in the front
Pò
Use tape works in less than 5 seconds
What’s the tape method?
@Quadralyn Saddler simply take a piece of tape stick it to the cap and pull.. it pops right out
What for ? You just show thefts how to steal other people belongings ! Bad video !
Lol it’s for people wanting change out the star caps with a preferred style. Nobody is stealing these
