Hey Da'mon. I'm glad you like the effect. In my original DVD I explain that you should trim off those little bits of your card case once your gimmick is set up. Once you trim those off you'll see it all makes sense as far as the size of the gimmicks go. Also, there was a section explaining how to very easily convert the pen provided into a Sharpie. I'm not sure why Penguin chose not to include this when they shot their own tutorial but I'll make sure those sections are added to their tutorial. Thanks for the review ;) Roddy
I'm honored by the reply good sir! I think they need the explanation as well, because they ended up sending me 3 gimmicks instead of just explaining the trimming. They kept telling me to trim the gimmick, but it's not possible. Trimming the box makes more sense. The Sharpie conversion is a good thing just to minimize any thoughts of reverse engineering. I love love love this effect and it's absolutely fried everybody I perform this for. Thank you for creating this!
