- The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh attended a parade to commemorate the 120th anniversary of The Entente Cordiale at Buckingham Palace. The event marked the first time a non-Commonwealth country, France, had taken part in the Changing of the Guard ceremony.

Grace personified, they carry out their tasks perfectly. It's nice to see Royals who aren't usually in the spotlight, helping out with various tasks and public appearances. I find that they accomplish their tasks perfectly, in my opinion. Generosity that comes from the heart, without calculated ulterior motives. It's good to see. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are SUCH a pleasure to see, watch and admire as they take on a more public role in supporting the British Monarchy ins such a dignified, gracious, calming and beautiful way. Just love them both 😊👋
They haven't taken on a more public role. People just now suddenly got the idea to follow them which is sad because they work just as hard as all the rest of them. Same thing goes for the Princess Royal except people know she does a lot because of her numbers but we never see her doing them which is also sad.

And in some ways, I would have loved to see her the monarch because of her self-composure, insightful understanding of everything important, commitment and such strong character ( like her Mother!!) It IS sad but, it's good that the world is focusing on the royals who are REALLY part of the backbone of preserving history. 🙂

I love how he breaks protocol and lets the women go up the steps first. I truly believe if someone were to lose their step in his presence that he’d be the first to chuck out a helping hand. He just has that personality. The kind of man every mother wishes their daughter would bring home 😊
The Edinburghs are the only royals, with the exception of The Princess Royal, who haven't embarrassed the Crown with some major scandal. Yes, they had some issues in their younger years, but they learned from them with grace and sincerity. Even when KCIII withheld their Duke and Duchess titles promised by the queen, they soldiered on, never complaining.

I can’t believe tomorrow is the 3rd anniversary of when Prince Philip died and I’ll be doing a memorial service for him. The same will happen on his 103rd birthday in June
Yes so many of us miss her but she'll be back soon with her beautiful smile. She's a strong lady & it's better to miss her for a little while now so can have her back with us for a very long time. No more crying we need to send positive thoughts her way.
