The King has announced that Prince William will be made colonel-in-chief of the Army Air Corps - the regiment Prince Harry served with in Afghanistan.
It comes just a day after the King informed that his “full programme” meant a reunion was not possible during Harry’s UK trip to celebrate the Invictus Games.
Harry has travelled to London to mark the 10th anniversary of his Paralympic-style tournament for wounded veterans and serving military, but will not cap his visit by sitting down with his father.
Kev says: “This is the most sensational royal snub of all time!”
Charlie: “Anybody who thinks Harry is going to somehow come back into the royal fold… rubbish!”

Precisely as he did in Canada after visiting his stricken father. Everytime he visits and is seen by his father "The King" he use that to prove he still has standing in the BRF. I think there are a number of very strategic reasons behind the King's decision not to see Prince Harry 1) his health concerns - not wanting the stress of Harry's constant whining and demands, 2) a counter move to negate any indications of officiality to the Nigerian visit and 3) letting Harry know that his final tether to the BRF (his father's regard/love) has been severed. Receiving a diagnosis of, and undergoing treatment for, a life threatening disease is powerful method of concentrating the mind on the things, and people, that are most important in your life. It allows you to jettison the things/people that make you unhappy and focus on the good. King Charles has a strong motivation to overcome the disease to carry on with his reign for more years and not become a footnote between the late Queen and his eldest son, and to allow his son Prince William to concentrate on his wife and family at a time when they need him.
So grateful that King Charles will not subject himself, his wife, William and Catherine to Harry... it's the right decision.
