I don't think the people defending black owned business understand that if you hold everyone except black businesses accountable it won't take long until everyone stops eating at them because they'll be known for shit quality.

He's just speaking his opinion, I've been to restaurants where he said too salty and it was fine and some he said were good were terrible
I’m a Detroiter who has worked in the restaurant scene. I’ve been in both restaurants in the city & in some of the Metro Detroit Suburbs. I’ve had good & bad food in both places as well. I appreciate Mr. Chimetime’s good & bad reviews. The bottom line is this: Everybody who dines out regardless of where you go, wants HOT, FRESH FOOD In a Clean Restaurant, which includes Clean curb appeal, a clean dining area , & clean restrooms!!! If you aren’t getting any of those things, YOU ALREADY ARE BEING CHEATED!!!!

Its funny we dont like when people criticize a business for bad products and service. So let this be a warning. Some of these people food is high and hot garbage. Sweetwater downtown use be great but the last 2x's I went it was horrible. I hit the carryout locations which are better in my opinion (Southfield & Detroit).

Sorry, people that are getting mad at guys like him or Keith Lee are morons plain and simple. This idea that you can't criticize black owned businesses for fear of harming their business is insane. If someone is calling out legitimate issues they had with a business, it doesn't matter who owns it. And it also doesn't matter if he was exclusively reviewing only black owned businesses, his experience still stands.
Also, please stop with this "his/her/your/mine truth" nonsense. There is the truth. There is your opinion, your experience, your perspective.

I'm from NYC and lived almost 20 years in N.C. Both places only serve grits with butter, salt, and pepper. Sugar!!?!! That's porridge! 😂😂

Black ain't got nothing to do with it. Either your food and service is great or your restaurant is trash. Half those black businesses are open because someone had this idea of opening an establishment and have no back ground whatsoever in the restaurant business. If it's trash it's trash period and that goes for the customer service too!
Food critics or any other critics really don't have to much influence me, because people have different experiences and different taste buds. I personally can see through the games people play. I'm pretty sure others out there feel the same way.
I respect his honesty. Maybe this could help some restaurants to step their game up!
