I'm really glad that our Cuz from NC got to experience the Holiday decorations, a Pistons game (even though they're terrible,) a Lions game, and got to meet some class people and have a banging time. That said, I'd LOVE for him to come back during the Labor Day Holiday weekend (let's say Thursday - Tuesday.) There are SOOOOOOO many events and fun things going on that weekend that it's insane. I think he was here for a few weeks, so if that's the case, he could arrive for the Woodward Dream Cruise which is the third Saturday in August and stay through Labor Day which is only a couple of weeks later. That period of time is my favorite. I go to SO many things, do SO much fun stuff, get SO many fun experiences, it's awesome! Anyway, thanks for hanging with The D and showing us some love, Cuz. ~Be Blessed
I'm not from Detroit and I've never been there but I've been saying it, in the next ten years or so it's going to be booming and it will get very expensive. I see them completely fixing it up out there as they've been doing, companies moving in and a lot of folks moving in bringing that place back. Whoever has invested in that area will most likely become wealthy off of their real estate investments.
This makes me so happy to see. So glad someone represented the city right. I don't live there anymore but Detroit will always be home and have my heart. I'm proud to tell people wherever I go that I'm from Detroit.
