Informative tutorial friend :) I like adding a nice glow effect whenever it calls for it. I like the "texture" that the specks on the outer beak. I used a subtle glow on the eyes of Captain Falcon drawing.

Would you suggest this is better than the glow pen?

I love the glow pen! The middle tends to be bright white, so I use it for directly light shining on things, doe example his feet on the glow are really bright!
