So pleased to find your show - Sydney girl living in the UK loving RPDR and desperate for an Aussie review show of Down Under- memories of The Albury in the 80s come flooding back
Great! Love that JoJo can see a silver lining and that she got her message out to the world on the main stage 👏. Might be good to edit in photos of the queen's outfits when you're discussing them too?
Trevor and David you are both so talented and engaging! Thank you for a great review - and SO quick after the ep aired. I'll be tuning in again for sure - Chookas!
Loved this little ruview Kiki. Gonna share it with all my friends it was so fun to watch. Thank you for the interview at the end it was really great. Lots of great questions, and such a sweet and sincere queen. 👸 Can't wait to tune in next week. Xoxo
This is awesome, thank you Trevor Ashley for Drag Hag and reviewing Drag Race Down Under. I will be setting my notification button for your channel. #DragRaceDownUnder
Would have been great if Jojo stayed a little longer, she had so many zingers she was shaping up to steal the series narrator title that was supposed to be Maxi
I've kept my Stan subscription for this series lol. The first drag queen I had ever seen was Dame Edna. I actually thought Dame Edna was a bio woman who was related to the Queen of England lol. It took me a while to wrap my head around the fact that a man could dress and pretend to be a woman. She was on TV all the time when I was a kid. I was sad to see the first queen leave drag race. I wish they didn't boot anyone in the first episode, just to give us (audience) a chance to get to know the queens better. Great upload 💙
I hope since its technically down under, we could see at least one of the other nation queens from papa new Guinea, Fiji, etc on this show. BTW Indonesia is also a down under country
It's probably just me but it seems to me that drag has really suffered, from lack of real talent, looks over substance, unoriginality. Drag is an art form. But I believe today's performers put very little artistic effort into their characters whilst emphasising costumes and boring old snide remarks. It would be nice to see a true original drag artist. There's more to drag than whacking on a costume, putting on the same make up as every other performer and doing boring inane jokes. You need talent, otherwise your just a man in a dress, and that my friends is for football players! All due respect to the lovely ladies at manly today.
I agree, everything seems a little smaller and not as detailed as the US set; cheap seems a bit harsh... However I think the film work is SO much better on DRDU. I'm just happy they were able to do it at all and thank you to NZ for allowing the show to go on! Xx
It isn't bad at all lol. It was unable to be filmed in Sydney as originally planned so obviously things aren't all as would have been preferred. But come on overall it looks good and the queens are what bring the energy anyway.😁 season 2 should be able to be filmed in Australia and be bigger and better.
WTF did I just watch! Bar queen Drag at its worse. The weird use of green screen. Visage looked like she had an eye infection and Rupaul’s Drag looked thrown together. Season 1 of the USA version your crown has been taken, you’re no longer the cheapest, trashiest mess of a season. Rupaul’s Drag Britain season 2 pull it off brilliantly during lockdown Rupaul’s Down under didn’t. It was a disaster, cheap and a horrible horrible mess
The Aussie queens are definitely going to take 'throwing shade' to a another level. And I'm here for it. Let the sledging begin! 😂😂😂
BTW always knew David Campbell was an ally, but it's nice to see a straight man so invested in what we do
I’ll be tuning in every week. David a great guest and getting JoJo wow. Top show.

Dame Edna was not really a Drag Queen. He was an artist!
You're such a great artist, Trevor! Together with Conchita Wurst you have been a real diva. Your talent is amazing. Germany loves you ❤️

Gurl you know it was only called Down Under cos NZ is involved. It was originally going to be a solo Aus show.
❤❤
What's David Campbell insta??

Drag is dead. Ru Paul killed it!

Im concerned about the quality of RPDGDU :-/ it seems disgustingly cheap!
