IOW Fossil Hunt Day 6 Alum Bay

we visit alum bay aka the needles
there are various formations here
1st off we went off to the right (needles side) there we found some nice bits in the London clay approx. 51 myo Eocene
then after we head the other side of the chairlifts
the stairs area is the Barton clay 35 - 40 myo
then further up to the headon hill formation
approx. 35 myo
parking is at the needles attraction car park

Actually been to Alum bay ,yes loads of Gastropods and as you say very fragile ❤
