Well since much of the comment section is simp- I mean praising about Daigo's Akuma gameplay, I might as well say something about Chris Wong who it seems to be sticking it out with Luke and doing exceptionally well with him. Even with the minor buffs he using with him like his DDT to do more damage.
Great set for both amazing players.

@@phantasyryder The only problem with Akuma is the health. In this game, even with 10k HP can still die with one wrong guess lol. And for me, Akuma's offense isn't that good compared to previous games.

@@phantasyryder 9k is not that low. It's less than one throw worth of difference. People make such a big deal out of it acting like Akuma doesn't have the best tools in the game.

It got buffed this season to do way more damage. It used to be almost useless before, but now it's a good option.
@@beam5655 Still almost useless, in most of the times players will prefer corner carry even the damange is 1000 damage less

@@gxf4ever805 SPD is resource free, and 2900 still less than SPD(3300), if you do not believe me, just check recent tournaments, almost no one use this move
I hope every Luke pros would ditch this charcter, pick Ken, Akuma or Ryu
OMG, a really good fight ! Both of them were playing so carefully, and some of the rounds till to last 20 seconds. you never feel bored cause you are waiting who will make mistake first.

6:23 I'm less than a casual when it comes to SF, so this is my first time watching Luke's gameplay. But... can anyone explain to me what's up with Luke's forearms? Why are they bigger than his upper arms??
Character design and the art team getting a nod from the director to try and make a Popeye like fighter. If you look up some of Luke’s earlier concepts, he’s nearly identical to the cartoon sailor man, but was shifted to be a younger brash type instead of a true old sailor who smokes. Street fighter also has a history with larger limbs and body parts, most of the hands and feet of characters in the past and still for the men in six, are larger than average.

A tragic way for such an epic set to end 😅. Final point, final set, a whiff on a combo after the perfect parry to win the game, with 8 seconds left in clock.
An amazing game between two patient players. Those that say it’s boring are casual spectators, which is okay, but this is exciting for true fans of the game!
So happy to see Chris could fight with Daigo at this extent 👍

Heavy flame fists into heavy demon you can do the kick timed for plus frames or do empty for a fakeout. The kick catches a lot of people off guard
I’ve never played this game, it seems super technical with all the projectiles I watched. Is it worth purchasing? Mortal Kombat is kind of getting boring

I don’t think Daigo ever had a true “main”. He used Akuma during the super days, 3 and his legendary parry he mained Ken, he used Ryu and subsequently evil Ryu in 4, Guile in 5 and now Ken with a maybe to Akuma in 6.
@@dlbarnes For all of season 1. For you see, Ken was his _main_. According to your comment he should be sticking with Ken. Sounds like you need to think before opening your mouth, but you better take your foot out of it first

Akuma's Fireball is high risk and low reward, does it really make sense to play Akuma this way?
Its fireball is fast. It is difficult to get the timing right to jump against it. I would say this is low risk and high reward.
Basically: Daigo sweating throwing fireballs, controlling distance and flow for 30 seconds at a time, CWong lands a poke, turns green, erases 30% of his health. Repeat.

Diagonal’s Akuma still using the old traditional methods to play fire fire and go toward that way, this is very easy to catch up by the other player. He should like Takido play more positive.
