      It’s been parked in the shop for close to a year. Just got it out and cleaned it up the other day. Don’t drive it much anymore don’t wanna get hit. People can’t drive anymore at all.

    I’d say a Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 limited is like the Jeep trackhawk of the 90s

      Yeah pretty much for the era they were from they were hard to beat. I love mine got that baby in the garage stored away. Fixing to do some paint work. Sometime soon whenever I get the extra cash and time right now I’m slammed with work I have 3 cars waiting in line.

    Post a video of what the exhaust setup looks like underneath I been wanting to true dual my Jeep

    hello, crazy video, I am writing to you from Italy, I have your same jeep 5.9, can you tell me where to find these exhausts and what modifications have you made to the engine? thank you

    • @JEEPERDUDE98
      @JEEPERDUDE98  Год назад +1

      Hello 🇮🇹,it’s was just a custom kit I made from scratch with some used exhaust pipe I had laying around the shop. I cut the y-pipe out and the catalytic converter. So it’s true dual exhaust from the manifolds back. Engine modifications I have done are none,it’s dead stock with 213,000 original miles on it. I ended up installing a homemade x-pipe because it Was so loud even at idle you could barely talk. It toned it down a lot at idle with the x pipe but under full throttle it still sounds like a general lee. Lol

      Aye the 4.7 ain’t that bad it got plenty of hp and torque

    • @JEEPERDUDE98
      @JEEPERDUDE98  Год назад +1

      265hp at it highest and 330 lb ft not bad but at its time. But by 2013 that was extremely underpowered. I have seen a lot of them with high mileage but I have also work on a few. Had some issues out of rocker arms coming loose and head gasket failures. But they sure sound good with the right set of pipes on them. I put a set of shorty jba headers and a high flow cat and dual exhaust with a original 40 series flowmaster. It sounded great, even changed the setup to a super 10 flowmaster but it didn’t get much louder it actually sounded the best with the original 40 series on it. Had a very good deep rumble to it. Unfortunately that truck’s motor had to be replaced around 150,000 miles because the head gasket blew. The reason the headers were installed was the manifolds were leaking like crazy,both sides. I used to have some video on here of it way back. Not sure if I still do or not.

      @@Cowboy66SEVEN 😅 I have considered the srt8, 10vgrand now!! But I do love my old money pit! To be fair, she is very pampered! Near mint! Sports pipe, air filter. Sounds great, looks Good, drives very well. We're in our 4th year together, I believe she's a keeper thou😅👍

    Did you remove the front drive line? Mines been off for about 16 years and now I'm going to reinstall it, hopefully everything will be bolt on no issues either way I love the stock 5.9 in my niner and back burnouts are cool.

    • @JEEPERDUDE98
      @JEEPERDUDE98  2 года назад

      I pull my front driveshaft out when I wanna do burnouts. But I normally keep it in cause I love having the extra traction. I plan on adding a locker in the front so I get the most traction possible.

    • @JEEPERDUDE98
      @JEEPERDUDE98  Год назад

      It’s all stock motor. Only thing not stock is the exhaust from the manifolds back and the throttle body top hat.

    • @JEEPERDUDE98
      @JEEPERDUDE98  2 года назад

      With the 31’s and stock 3:73 gears 6.2 seconds. That’s with no front driveshaft in and some wheel spin off the line,it’s dead stock besides the exhaust and I have probably 100lbs of subs and box in the rear and a broken control arm and sway bar right now.
