I went to Disneyland over 30 years ago. This was my favorite ride! I loved the way the seats revolved. Absolutely amazing!

Disney needs to update the ride, to look exactly like this movie. And put in those other rooms that the Disney World Version has.
The haunted mansion is still one of the greatest Disney rides ever . My mom and dad love the ride too .

Appreciate this video as opposed to others because you can actually hear Paul Frees and not everyone talking so loudly. So many great memories with Disneyland and this ride in particular. Thanks so much.

I hate it when people talk all the way through attractions.
I saw a video where there was 2 girls on their phones in the seance room lighting up the whole set.
Several years ago I went on Haunted Mansion for the umpteenth time - this is one of my "go to" rides - and I started reciting the speech when the giant elevator takes the guests down to the main floor. There were a sizable number of people in the room who were also reciting the speech, word for word. True HH devotees!
I'm so so happy they didn't get rid of alot of the classic awesome things I remember as a child!!! 👍🏻😄😍

I have always thought that the haunted mansion was one of the best dark rides made. I like to watch videos from all the different versions, but the Paris version is my favorite one.
I hope they keep the Haunted Mansion ride open in 2023 ! and beyond it is the best ride Disneyland has ! It is a Disneyland landmark and the heart of Disneyland along with Cinderella's Castle !
Disneyland California has sleeping beauty's castle 🥰 Cinderella's is in Disney world Florida and Tokyo Disneyland
They close it in I don't know maybe October because they change it into the nightmare before Christmas I have no idea when haunted mansion closes to this year

When I was 6 years old i very faintly remember this ride. 10-31 of this year I turn 60 and would so love to go back to DISNEYLAND or even DISNEYWORLD in Florida!! One can only dream.....and watch these videos!!!!
I live near orlando, so i've rode the one at the magic kingdom at least 100 times. It was interesting and cool to see the similarities and differences between the two mansions.

The Nightmare Before Christmas theme is only in the park certain times of the year. I think from October to the end of December. The rest of the year it’s this version

I always loved this ride! As I got older, I started trying to figure out the tricks in this ride.
It was during a solo trip thru (my folks were elsewhere; I was a teen) that I & another guest were discussing how the stretched room worked. It was also during a solo trip, maybe the same one, that I finally deduced how the ghost-in-your-car illusion worked! I confirmed it by looking where they don't want you to.

I used to absolutely hate this ride as a little kid because I thought it was too creepy. Now it's one of my favorites!

I HATED this ride until I was about 16 years old. I had to wear headphones and blast music during the stretching room. When they switched it to Nightmare for the holidays I was finally able to enjoy the full haunted mansion experience.
Yeah this ride isn't scary at all to be honest I've rode this ride when I was little and it didn't scare me and now as a teenager it still doesn't scare me
When I went to disneyland 14 years ago this is what I remembered its still the same!! I remember being 6 and having a nightmares about this the following nights i went to that ride

I have been to Disneyland as a child and with my kid so many times.
Back in the old days (1970's) we'd finish working the Dickens fair and then take advantage of specials to Disneyland where 3 of us would spend a thrilling weekend. We'd first go on the mule ride first thing in the morning. Then we'd go on Pirates and then on Haunted Mansion. Then we'd do them all again before lunch.
That is one of my favorites rides been on it twice as a child and once as an adult
I love this ride but I didn't always love it.... When I was younger I was afraid of it and to get me on it my mom would say that it's a Scooby-Doo ride. Now if I get afraid of it I end up thinking that and I don't get afraid of it. Lol Yes I know that Scooby-Doo isn't Disney in all but it's what my momma would say to me to get me on this ride and I believed her. Haha....

I rode the one in Disneyworld many years ago when I was in high school. I scared the heck out of a poor lady. At one point when the cars were traveling side by side, I reached over and tapped her on the shoulder.

The stretching room is actually an elevator that descends slowly two stories underground where the ride is. They just made the elevator look like a stretching room.

It seems like there were more jump scares in the past. Ghosts would pop up from behind gravestones and shriek.
