It’s the WORST! So happy it’s finally being discussed. I used to go to book stores, hoping to find some relief and there was maybe a paragraph in anxiety self-help books - useless advice. It simply didn’t help. I also completely agree with Charelle - I’m truly only anxious about my health and nothing else! So many people seem to think there’s more anxiety lurking beneath the surface that’s causing all this. Thank you to Cherelle! Love your advice.

I suffered from health anxiety after my sister died. It’s really lonely and I hated it because I felt it was robbing me of the grief I should I have been feeling. And felt really guilty of my self obsession. Thank you for bringing awareness to this ❤ Cherelle you helped me in my darkest days x

I can’t tell you how nice it is to hear someone talk about this. I have been working on my health anxiety for years. Thankfully it didn’t reach the same level. The nhs got me counselling that really helped but I think at this stage, I will always have it to some degree. Thank you for sharing. ❤

Thank you for bringing awareness to this Fearne and Cherelle and showing that health anxiety is more than just worrying it can stop you from living your life fully. I’ve suffered with this since I was a teenager watching several family members die from different types of cancer. I end up going through a cycle every year or so of being convinced I’ve got cancer in a new area of the body only to go through the stress of doctors appointments, tests, scans etc. and to find nothing. But still I’m sure they’ve missed something or done the wrong test. It’s exhausting and makes it hard to trust yourself and your gut / intuition since it turns out to be delusional every time. It’s made worse by reading news stories about people who are misdiagnosed or told to stop worrying by doctors only to decline rapidly after a late diagnosis further down the line. I hope doctors / mental health professionals will learn more about this condition to help those of us struggling x

I don't think I have ever heard anyone who is able to explain what Health Anxiety is in a simple to understand way that anyone can understand that can convey just how barbaric and devastating it really is It's a shame. You cold see Fearne at 3.59 wasn't really convinced yet. Well done, Cherelle. I was cursed with this at 9.
