If you go back with Ashley after fighting Garrador, there is a little dialogue where Leon and Ashley talk about it. What if you go back with her after skipping the fight?
tested it. she didn't come down when the wolverine is alive. she will only come down if u actually kill it. I even have her wearing the armor costume she still won't come down
if you have broken butterfly... you can just run and go left a bit in a room. he will charge straight and you can one shot him with the magnum. it roughly as fast as this plus the loot

Omg i literally did this on hardcore the bolt mines are genius btw , what I did was brought him back to where we originally met the monster ran past up the ladder and he is like stuck down there with his back exposed I took complete advantage and killed him with my hand gun!! I will be trying that technique you used with the bolt gun on professional next thank you for the Idea❤

Just started playing PC Re4 remake was my first game on PC and played the original so why not learn to play MNK I also put it on the hardest difficult to start because that’s what gamers do let’s just say I 💩 myself on this part since I kept messing up my keys and couldn’t move half the time 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You can just sneak up to the crank and if he's still in the cell shouldn't reach you in time before you get to the ladder. Plus it really depends if its on a fresh save or NG+ in which case yeah, just magnum him in the back once or twice. If not, you're better off skipping if you don't want to use up a bunch of ammo.

The bolt thrower with grenades is an absolutely OP weapon... and so cheap. I love it!
Crossbow is such an underrated weapon. I watched so many streamers dismissed it.
Keep in mind, you can use the mind thrower and he won't come at you. He can't hear the shoot, only the boom.
The bolt launcher is the Dead space equivalent to the line launcher and I love it!

Line launcher OP. Infinite ammo shenanigans with something RE4 remake did away with... giving you full ammo on capacity upgrades.
