- The guys at Classic Firearms are always unearthing cool mil-surp stuff. The Hungarian FEG AP63, sometimes called the PA63 in its 9x18 offering, is a pistol designed in 1963 for Hungarian police. It's still in use today and is available in several calibers including 32 ACP (7.65 Browning), 9x18 and .380. This is another cool "here today, gone tomorrow" mil-surp import item.

We still use this pistol in the Hungarian Police force. I used to use this but luckily I had the opportunity to switch to a FEG P9RC. We call these "cherry seed sputter". We have these in really bad conditions and jam all the time. But still this is the gun I first fired in my life.
Keep up your good videos!
Cheers from a police officer!
Mára elavult szolgalati fegyverré vált, de kitűnő önvedelmi fegyver.
A Pa 63 a kecsessége miatt tetszik.
Nem a ballisztikai eredmények, hanem a formavilága.
The ones coming into the U.S. are in very nice some like new condition. the best ones of the 7.65mm are the AP-MBP marked ones that have the serial number starting with BK Can you tell us anything about these so marked 7.65mm pistols? i was told once they were made for the Bulgarian Police is this Correct?
I like it when you review older firearms. I am older myself and it is like a walk down memory lane to see lots of guns I am familiar with.
For the past several years, I've been building up my Eastern-Bloc collection while they're still relatively affordable, but the past year I've concentrated on 32acp/7.65. My FEG AP came with only 1 mag, but it did come with an owner's manual. Later, I found a surplus leather FEG holster for it on Ebay. I have the Mak and .380 versions too, but this one is the nicest to shoot.
Got one of the FEG's for my birthday from a friend at a LGS I part time at, love it. Recoil feels like a 22 mag to me.
Yes, very mild recoil and lots of fun to shoot.
@@Militaryarmschannel How do I get parts for this pistole ? I need that little bent spring that tuck in the frame . The one that helps with ejection?
After watching this video, I went ahead and got one of these, because I've always wanted a PP, but quite frankly couldn't afford it.
However, I have to say, I absolutely love mine. I use it as my EDC (yes, I carry a .32) and me and that little guy are thicker than thieves!
Thanks MAC!
Wolf makes a spring pack for those pistols that will improve the DA trigger greatly, they also carry a recoil spring pack as well.
I currently have the PA63 9Mak. Great little guns. FEG makes very good quality guns.
I had one in 9x18 for years. It was very light and marvelously accurate. After ~50 rounds of nasty surplus ammo I'd need to wipe the feed ramp or gunk would build up and it would sometimes fail to go completely into battery. I polished the feed ramp and that improved it. Definitely worth the pittance I paid for it
Hi Tim, the 380 acp version of this pistol has been my daily carry for the past two years. I love it and it's very easy to conceal.
Dean Ranged me too!
Timothy Greene. What type of holster are you using? I've got a neoprene iwb I keep trying to replace but have yet to find anything I like more
I use a uncle mikes size one, only other options are custom made leather or kydex.
Timothy Greene thanx I'll check it out
Is it a 9x18 rechambered in .380? Or did they actually make it in .380 too? I've been using the .32 as my edc and I love it, but I would have no problem switching to the .380 for obvious reasons.
Hey Mac! Just a quick hint, Budapest is pronounced like "Budapesht" :) a single "s" letter = "sh" :D cheers from Hungary, love your channel!
Én is ezt akartam mondani 😀
It's fine. A lot of foreigners say it like that. In fact even in english lessons some pronounce it like that occasionally. Confusing. Én is magyar vagyok lol.
What would be the best slavic language to learn as a lingua franca?
@@algomez8563 Two choices, two schools of thought to consider. Russian would be the most widely spoken globally, so if you're looking for sheer reciprocity of other native speakers, Russian would be the largest followed by Polish. I personally feel Slovak is the most useful, because it's considered "Slavic Esperanto" and could theoretically allow you to communicate with any Slavic population worldwide, even if just in basic form. Slovak has about 80% mutually intelligent words with Polish, Hungarian, Slovenian and Czech, and about 50% mutual vocabulary with Russian, Ukranian and Croatian.
So, it all depends on what you're looking for. If you plan on being closer to Ukraine and Russia, Russian would be very helpful, and if you're going to be closer to Hungary and Poland, Polish would be more useful.
Slovak is useful as more or less the Swiss Army Knife of Slavic language, in that it's a jack of all trades but master of none. You're not going to have any deep, philosophical conversations with anyone aside from the comparative few other Slovak speakers, but you can achieve basic communication with native Balto-Slav groups as varied as Germany (old Prussia) to all of East Europe as far south as Turkey and Syria.
Or, you know, just speak English. 90% of Slavic people under age 40 speak fluent English as their first or second language. It was pretty much the first thing the schools adopted after the fall of the Soviet Union, as a middle finger to the commies, so essentially everyone born after 1982 who went to public school is going to speak better English than many Americans.
Always enjoyed shooting the .32 - thanks for sharing yours :)
MAC rocks, RUclips sucks.
Thanks man. RUclips has slowly become a Marxist regime all it's own. Yeah, it's a privately owned business, but at this point given they're by FAR the largest video host with monetization, they're a monopoly. No one else can compete so they can force anything they want on people and discriminate. If I discriminated like they do in my store, I would find myself in a class action lawsuit.
I hope you are well, you are a great man
I have 2 from when J&G had their shipment. The FEG is actually safer than the Walther due to the Firing pin safety that pushes the firing pin up to be hit ONLY when the trigger is pulled to the rear. Otherwise it is down where the hammer cannot strike it.
agreed, actually seen videos where they mistakenly think there is a total lack of a hammer safety lol
Always a treat to watch your videos of surplus firearms. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
This video is already seven years old, but they are still available on Atlantic firearms for 250. Just picked mine up. Thanks for the great video!!! it’s an even better deal in 2025 due to the insane prices these days
Thank you for bringing this one up. My wife loves this little pistol. Just an excuse two go buy two of these. Thanks MaC
I am picking another one up. I am getting the blued one too.
These are such a blast to shoot, thanks for posting this one!👍🏼
Good stuff as always, we you find a channel where you relate and like the host, it matters
Thank you for the comparison. Great coverage.
Yes you reviewers get one of the best picks to review and the friends and family of classic firearms does as well and the common folk get the worn out pieces that have been looked over and passed on.
Great video. I’d love to see more of the cheap pawn shop guns you both buy.
Wolf makes an entire spring kit for these. I used a set on my FEG PA 63. It made a world of difference in the shooting and smoothness. I wanted to dump it almost day one, but after the spring kit upgrade, it has become a simple keeper.
I have the pa-63 ap9 380 and I love it. Nice to see a version of my pistol on my birthday! I'd love to have its little brother.
The FEG PA-63 in 9x18 is one of my carries.
looks like a keeper
Looks like the ideal auto-loading carry pistol to me! Much thanks and apreciation for the very clear details on how the decocking process goes(I've always been a wheel gun man)!
Had one of these FEGs, loved it! Bought it at a gun show about 10 years ago for under $200. Felt great in the hand, serrated trigger was nice.
For $200 you simply can't beat these.
Fun to watch. I have wanted a FEG .32 just to add to the collection. I have a Bulgarian Mak and a PPK/S. 9x18 and .380 respectively. The Mak is much more pleasant to spend a day at the range with. The PPK/S beats you up. BUT, FYI, I have been shooting Polycase in the PPK and it is fantastic. Felt recoil is significantly reduced and it is fun to shoot. The .32 looks to be a great plinker. Just fun. I would not use it for defense as I carry a Ruger EC9s for that. Great gun. Thanks for posting. I will be buying a .32 FEG soon!
I loved FEG in the 90s, Have a PA63 and also had one of their PJK-9HP hi-power clones. The PA63 is certainly one of the better combloc handguns. Right up there with the Makarov. I have known several people who have been very happy carrying a PA63 as their daily carry gun in 9x18 for years. The good thing is you have several options now for defense loads in the 9x18 caliber.
I had a genuine German Walther PP. Wish I never sold it.
Are you going to do more cheap pawn shop gun reviews? I like those videos.
*gandalf noises* you FOOL!
Back in January, I snapped up one of these, including original owner's manual, from a private seller for $200. I've added it to my other recent surplus .32s, including a CZ 70, Beretta 81, Beretta 1935, FN 1910/1922 and Mauser HSc. Plus, my appreciation for .32acp has increased, as prices and shortages generally haven't reached the absurd levels that 9mm and 380acp have achieved lately!
I've got a couple of the PA63's and if these pistols are anything like them, then they're meant to be carried more than shot. These pistols are solid little guns until they begin to wear and have problems. They're not meant for high round counts.
They also have a tendency to blow off extractors as they age. Walther PP extractor plungers and springs will fit the PA63, and I'm betting will likely fit the AP63's too.
Do you think the 32acp version wears the alloy frame less vs. the 9x18 since its a lot less powerful?
Hello from Hungary and sorry for my bad english.
Carefully with this litle pistol. Because of the aluminium frame, and the over all build quality, it can be a real pain in the ass, after few month of shooting. After the slide rails in the frame came loose, the pistol start to jaming, failing to extract, or just dont feed. There is nothing safe in the safety decocker. After few hundred decockink, the sholders what prevent the hammer to hit the fireing pin, bend, and the hammer can hit, and if the gun is loaded when this appen, it will empty the magazin. (Sure, the full auto is fun, but not, when you put your gun in to safe.) the mechanism is just bad. there is some part that like to come loose or brake. Like the barell whitch is held in place with one pin to the aluminium frame. The slide hit the barell, and after a while, it start to move back and forth.
If you looking for a backup gun or a butget fun gun, this might be the pistol for you, but it's cheap for a reason. but still beter than the hi point. If you want a good hungaryan pistol, I realy recommend the FÉG P9R.
(Fun fact. Most of the hungarian police officers still issued with the PA-63.)
Barnabás Kiss Te nem besszelsz rosszul, teljesen érthető voltál meg 😀
Barnabás Kiss thank you for info
+Alex Johnson where do you learn hungarian?
+Fe Wolf your welcome!
Barnabás Kiss I lived in Hungary for two years. Mainly Budapest, but also Szolnok, Szombathely, and Szekesfeher. I learned Hungarian while living there
+Alex Johnson Good to hear that. You propably understand how bad the hungarian gun laws are compared to the USA. :D
My dad bought one of these in the late 90's chambered in 9mm Makarov. Pretty snappy recoil in that caliber but still a pretty handsome little gun!
Another informative & interesting review. Neat little pistol that gives the PPK/PP experience without the hefty investment. Thanks for taking the time to create such excellent videos.
I got a PA-63 in 9x18 and that thing is snappy AF.
Go to Wolff gunsprings and order the heaviest recoil spring they sell. It will help. I do this on all my milsurp pistols, helps hunt down the brass if you reload as well since it won't launch it quite as far.
Toolness1 I did, heaviest recoil spring and lightest hammer spring. Trigger pull is great, but it still snaps about as bad as a kel-tec pf9.
Agreed. A heavier recoil spring helps, but the light frame and snappy caliber still makes it jump a bit. Maybe in .32 ACP it's not so bad? I might have to get one.
Steven I'm betting .32 would be pretty comfortable, but I'd rather have a round with more energy than a .32.
I had a pph in .380 and that one stung even with the Wolff springs. I blame the lighter aluminum frame. Oh and I actually used some wather pp parts to fix it, so they are definitely close copies.
Cool little gun for what It is Tim. Keep up the good work MAC.
I had the exact gun in 380, with a surplus holster and cleaning rod. I traded it in for a S&W Shield when they first came out.
I am no fan of Classic Firearms but as a heads up, they just got a batch of CZ 50 pistols in stock. These are .32 ACP C&R pistols and extremely well-made. I like these FEG pistols, but the CZ's are a step up IMO. Very close to the Walther and great little shooters.
250 bucks....well worth it if you ask me. These are the first I've seen on the primary market in years so I would definitely suggest grabbing one if you can afford it. Usually all you see are the CZ 70 pistols which are basically the exact same gun with a couple changes, and are not C&R.
Running .380 ,32, and 9 x 18 through mine. Great pistol
يعني يطلق ثلاث انواع من الرصاص
Had one of these back in the 1990s in .380...It was pretty nice, but since I lived in Arizona, I dropped it off at RoBar, and they put the NP3 finish on it. The trigger was pretty raunchy, but shooting it smoothed it out, other than still heavy.
I enjoyed mine except for two things; it was quite ammo sensitive, Winchester gave average 2 FTE per magazine while the as shown Fiocchi worked flawlessly and was surprisingly accurate. The other was when while carrying it in DA condition the hammer managed to get cocked inside my holster. That could have been BAD. As far as far as plinking or carry around the farm (in condition 3,) it did a fine job and was fun to shoot.
John Cosper: Winchester FMJ is a very mild load and its flat nose and short COL make it a difficult proposition for most 7.65mm/.32 ACP European pistols. Buy Euro-spec 73g FMJ such as Fiocchi, GECO, or S&B and it'll probably run like a champ.
@@d.mangham5204 No one in America seems to understand this about the Feg 7.65mm pistols. The two biggest things these pistols suffer from in U.S. hands is Thinking they can run with PA-63 9X18 mags and using the weak U.S. 71gr. ammo. both a recipe for failure to function.
Interesting. Thanks for showing this to us. Keep up the great work!
TIM you got me again !! Waiting for delivery of mine. Should be a nice carry piece for working around the acreage.
Great video! Makes me appreciate my little PA-63 PP clone even more... Semper Fi!
Interesting video. Lots of history with the 32 ACP. It’s interesting that the military and police units especially in Europe used the 32 ACP for a long time. Now we consider 32 ACP underpowered. It is still a deadly cartridge.
A .22LR is still a deadly round. .32 these days has been passed by because guns that chamber .380 or even 9mm are now the same size as .32's from decades ago.
It is a deadly cartridge. here in the US we have a long standing tradition that "bigger is better". That mindset worked it's way into our consumer psyche a long time ago.
Military Arms Channel I would agree that the micro pistols chambered in 380 and 9 mm have been the death of 25 ACP and 32 ACP. I used to carry a Beretta tomcat as a back up now I carry a Sig 938 as a back up. I transitioned because of the bigger cartridge (9mm) .and because the new pistols have similar size and weight. That said I don’t know anyone that wants to get shot with either a 22 much less a 32 caliber pistol.😋
RGV Shooter - Anything that pokes a hole in you, deeply enough, will kill you. That's why I wouldn't want to be shot by a .22LR either. Yes, the 32 is capable of poking holes (ball rounds) deep enough to kill. I choose to have a larger caliber that can not only punch through light barriers like walls and glass, yet still deliver a lethal blow but is also capable of taking advantage of modern bullet designs.
I admit I carry my M&P .380 80% of the time, my kahr k9 when I'm dressed up going out, and on my hikes/jogs my Tomcat 32. But if I ever god forbid end up in a situation such as Vegas, the church in Texas, movie theater in Colorado, I'm screwed. But those examples are rare, but still very frightening.
Picked up a Spanish MAB Model GZ last month. It's a cool little pistol, Walther-ish in appearance, but single action only. I need to replace the ejector and it'll be ready for a range trip. I'd love to get my hands on a real PP. Someday. Thanks for bringing us this one
My dad has 1 of these chambered in 380acp has been carrying it for over 25 years
I grabbed one of these a few years ago from SouthernOhioGun for like 170 bucks, it's a great little gun. I already knew it would be though, because I have one of the PA-63's in 9x18 and love it. I hunted for two years for an extra 32 ACP magazine and couldn't find one online or in any of the huge piles of mags at gun shows. Some say you can use 9x18 mags but I had three of those and none would function reliably loaded with .32. Now the mags are a tad easier to find because several shipments of these have come in the country over the last 3 years or so. They still aren't easy to find and they only ever ship one with the gun. If you get lucky you may find one in the 35 dollar range but the only one I see anywhere right now is 68 bucks on Ebay. Sarco has one that looks like it MIGHT be correct but is listed as "Original Hege .32 Magazine" and is 35 dollars. Without trying it, I am not sure.
I did change out the hammer spring to a lighter spring for a PA-63 and it did help the trigger pull. The heaviest PA-63 recoil spring that will still allow the gun to cycle helped the brass not launch into orbit so I could hunt it down for reloading. The slide stop spring can fly out when you disassemble the gun, be careful and don't lose it. The gun will lock open after every round fired without that spring. I got my PA-63 for 150 bucks because it was missing that spring. Norm Sutton off of the P64 gun forum can make you a new one if you lose or break yours. I am pretty sure the only two parts that are different between the 32 and 9x18 are the barrel and magazine.
FEG makes great stuff. I also suggest checking out their exact copy of the Browning Hi Power. Every bit as good as a FN and parts interchange if you get the PJK-9HP model. The CZ 50 and 70 model 32 ACP pistols are even nicer than these, unfortunately they are gone from the primary surplus market. They were abundant a few years ago and cheap, and are classic CZ quality and even closer to the PPK design with all steel frames.
Definitely grab one of these if you can afford it, and hunt down a 9x18 version as well. If your eyes are good enough to see the sights, both the 32 and 9x18 versions are two of the most accurate blowback military style pistols I've shot. The ones with a black frame are the same as this one but have some kind of paint on the alloy frame, so you could always remove that paint if you REALLY want a two-tone. I would suggest leaving it all original, even if the paint on the frame is worn since it is a surplus firearm.
I've always asked myself, is it really _necessary_ to change the springs out of old pistols (30'-40') ? Would the gun be more reliable with a new hammer spring, or will it make almost no difference on that ground ?
That really depends on the gun and how well the springs are made...some springs will wear quicker than others. Unless you see issues or suspect worn springs, there's really no reason to change them unless you have a goal in mind. The reason I do it usually is to lighten a hammer spring to reduce trigger pull weight; military firearms usually have very hefty hammer/striker/main springs in order to ensure proper ignition of hard primers. I usually put in the heaviest recoil spring that will still allow my lighter reloads to function because that slows the slide down some and makes it easier to find my spent brass for reloading. A worn recoil spring can cause brass to launch into orbit and a lot of these ComBloc firearms have extremely strong ejection. Makarovs and Tokarevs, and similar designs such as this AP32 really launch brass. It can also help recoil some to have a stronger spring.
So, I would go at every gun on a case by case basis and wouldn't worry about it if everything seems to run fine.
Toolness1 Thank you for your answer !!
Just bought this pistol in 32acp
and i luv it
It's 2020 & I can't find a decent 32 ACP handgun anywhere, but it's the only handgun ammo I can find in stock everywhere.
There is no such thing as a FEG "AP63". There's the FEG PA-63 (9x18 Mak Hungarian Military pistol sometimes rechambered in .32ACP). Then commercial copies of the PA-63 in .32 called AP-66, AP-7.65, and finally the AP-MBP.
Love my FEG. It just feels so good to shoot.
Great stuff, picked up one last year, fun to shoot, love the milsurp stuff. 👍🏼
Wollf makes a full spring kit that completely fixes the trigger pull problems for less than $20. and about 20 minutes it is well worth the upgrade.
Okay, easy trigger fix. 9 lb. Wolf hammer spring. Amazing. Racking is a breeze and double action is amazing from what it was
When I was a dealer, back in the 1990's these things were available for $65.00 dealer, and they were brand new. Nice little pistol.
how much
You can improve the trigger a bit with a new hammer spring from Wolff and also if the recoil is sharp or harsh, you can lessen the recoil with a higher lb. recoil spring also from Wolff, both improved mines greatly. Thanks for doing the review.
Thanks for the info! I will look into this!
Tim is a good man. And that is the most important aspect of this channel. No compromise. None, whatsoever.
By the way, Tim. - Do you all have any Sig P226's available at CC? If so, I will be purchasing through you guys.
Thank you,

+Tis but a dream Thank you my friend. We do have some in stock, but their customized. We can sell any Sig pistol you want though, just contact sales@coppercustom and let them know we spoke on RUclips and let them know what you’re looking for. Thank you for the support, it truly means a lot.
Thank you. Will be contacting CC soon, most likely in December.
FEG make kick ass AK-M too..👍👍
I bought a LCR in .327 and have been looking for various .32 caliber guns to pair with it. I was thinking that I needed moon clips to fire .32 acp in it but after seeing some videos on youtube that doesn't seem to to he the case. Neat old gun from a forgotten era that's a better looking clone than what it was designed after.
I have a very similar CZ70. The ammo has few local offerings (where I live) and is expensive for what it is, IMHO. Ditto for 9 x 18. I love the mild recoil. Despite the rudimentary sights I can shoot it more accurately than my larger caliber weapons, and that isn't bad. If I had to do it over again, I'd get a CZ83 for my EDC and have my Taurus TCP as a deep concealed backup.
I bought 4 of them. for the money they will make really nice tuck away guns. I'm going to have one of them cerakoted and see if I can improve the sights. The others will remain stock.
I did some research on FEG a while back and they were actually licensed by Walther to make those P38 knock off's. Made them in .22,.32, and 380 cal. and some parts are interchangeable with Walther. After WW2 Walther ould not manufacture guns in germany anymore so they were looking for a new home. That's why the FEG build.
I have a CZ 70 in .32acp and it is very much like the Walthers and the FEG. Main difference is in the take down. I love it it is very accurate I would think becuase of the fixed barrel. I use it as a backup gun and or a bug out emergency gun. Bought mine a few years ago and it was a sub $200.00 gun. Not sure if they are still available on the milsurp market. But probably can be found used.
FEG PA-63 (in 9x18) is my current EDC. Very nice line of pistols. Well manufactured and reliable. I dropped a reduced power hammer spring (i think it was the 13lb-er) with an extra power recoil spring and it smoothed the DA out significantly. the only problem I have is an occasional light strike w/ steel-cased ball ammo (Red-army standard, brown bear). No mis-feeds w/ Hornady custom XTP or buffalo bore 115gr flat nosed '+p' (don't regularly run the latter mind you). The #1 reason I will carry the FEG (or PP(K) if I had one) over a PM or the polish or Czech equivalent is the firing pin safety. This allows the FEG to be safely carried with the safety off, hammer down, on a live round. The firing pin is held out of it's channel by a spring until the trigger is held fully to the rear nearly negating the possibility the pistol will discharge if the hammer gets caught while holstering. There is also a firing pin spring which keeps the pistol from discharging if dropped (2nd law > 3rd law). Great vid, keep 'em comming!!
32 acp is underated
Quite simmilar to this FEG is the Romanian pistol Carpați (pronounce Carpatzi, with the accent on the secon ”a”). The differences are only three: the mag release is not a press button, but a slide button at the bottom of the handle, the second difference is that the mag accepts only 7 rounds, and the third is that the contour of the handle is more ”ergonomic”. It is possible to be cheaper than FEG, and you would be very surprised to find out that this Carpați is the regular service pistol of the Romanian military, and law enforcement, despite the introduction of the full metal version of 9mm Jericho 941, many years ago. Both pistols are made in Romania, by Romarm state owned company.
I think both are copy of Russian Makarov and Makarov is a cheap copy of Walther ppk.
Manny of them was replaced with 9mm.

Great camera angle. Good work .
I like the patches on your jacket! Also I have a lot of Mak/Walther style guns but this is one that I still haven''t acquired. I may have to pick one up.
I had two of these, chambered in 380 they aren’t really made for heavy shooting, I was new to handguns, and I I loved them, they were great but the extractor blew out after I shot one 50 rounds, and the other on I got 100 rounds out of it, before the extractor blew out: today I found a West German ppk/s made in 1970 chambered in 9mm kurz
I alternate between PA63 and a P64 as my carry. Both are real tack drivers, and in 9x18
Hey mac....I really wish you would have done the PA63... Its the same just in 9mm makarov...Love that gun. Thank you for doing the mil surp reviews. Love your channel
Im a big time FEG fan i EDC a FEG hi power customized
Cool vid, MAC. I bet the all blued version would look great with some nice wood grips.
I used to carry a 32 when hunting birds in case I came across a rabbit worked very well and didn't do excessive meat damage. Guess it's time for a new one. Thanks Tim.
Had the same one 9×18 Makarov. Kicks hard because aluminum frame. If you shoot it alot the feed ramp will dent from the bullet hitting the ramp. Mine jammed alot on me and when my mags stayed loaded the springs failed on me. Brings back memories but would not buy one again for self protection.
I remember seeing an Afghan detective carrying one of these tucked into his waistband.
Thank you for the video
Amazing so wish Classic give those out 4 prizes not big $$ 50 cal rifles that U could never afford 2 shoot. Like the brush aluminum but either is a Winner ;) ! Great review TY ;)
Very nice pistol
I've been eyeing some gunsmith special models on J&G. But for $229, I'll just get one that works!
These are a great value and the prices will only go up.
Paid $219.00 on gunbroker.com.
My first pistol was a PA63 that looked identical to the pistol Tim is shooting in the video. The only difference was mine was chambered in 9mm Short (.380). That would have been 1988 or 89.
I got some nasty hammer bite from it.

Quit showing me things I didn't know existed now I want it.
A friend just bought one for $200. I like it much more than a Bersa Thunder and it has some history to it.
They used the PA-63 Version as a stand-in for a Mak in the movie "Red Heat" with Schwarzenegger and Jim Belushi for the scenes in the USSR.
11:00 Tim shows a lot of self control not saying anything about not grabbing the last two rounds of the other box first. Lol

+Saul Ramirez We have a couple of shotguns we’ve picked up that we’ll do a video on here soon.
I remember buying one of these out of a guy's trunk at a shopping mall like 10 years ago either giving it away or throwing it away
The good ole gunsamerica days
They made this pistol in .380 cal. only PPK size Model SMC-380 I actually like it more than the Walther as I recall the alloy frame makes it lighter weight. Because of the heavy double action pull I never use the safety. It is drop safe because the firing pin moves up into firing position when the trigger is pulled and drops down when finger is not on the trigger. Transfer bar firing pin I would call it. I've never tested it but I don't abuse my pistols. Mine is accurate and I must say I'd buy it another one if I could, they are hard to find.
I have a PA-63. Watch out for the ejectors on these things if they're the same ones. When those things break they're REALLY hard to find. Like 60 bucks a pop if you find one.
Ejectors in stock at Numrich for $22. www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-manufacturer/kassnar/auto-pistols-kass/pa-63-2?page=1
Had one of these in 9mm makarov, what a handful, it would sting my hand if I tried shooting one handed rapid fire and jumped around quite a bit. I bought mine back in 03 and think I only paid $90.00 for it from my local gun shop, it came with an extra matching serial # magazine and flap holster.
I've got one in 9mm Mak. You can use Wolf springs for the Walther PP if you find the trigger too heavy.
The PA63... great pistols.
Keep those milsurps coming
My dad has this very pistol for his carry... Well, not that authentic one, but the one called the PMK in 380 ACP. Doesn't have a slide lock or release. I think I heard on the forums there are some knock offs of knock offs which maybe my dad's. lol
I remember when these were common in gun shops.
