65daysofstatic perform Radio Protector as the closing song for their support of The Cure. Taken from the documentary "65doc" from their live album, Escape From New York.
This band is so fucking good, and so fucking underated. These guys should be playing for millions of people! They're sound is so melodic, so emotional, so beautiful, but in an authentic way, an original and unique way, something so unique that I don't even have any other band to compare them to. Yet, is beautiful to see bands like these, untouched by the mainstream, bands that keep their originality without needing to adjust to a market or a crowd of peoople. Art at its truest and purest form.
I've never seen a band live that left me in complete awe the way 65dos did. I saw then open for The Cure, had no idea who they were... they are now my favorite band and I have a tattoo in their honor. I'll never forget it and I really hope I get to see them again some day.
BEAUTIFUL... so thoughtful,insperational..motivational in a way the begining shows like history or something tragic or unspeakable and the ending shows never give up keep trying and better days wil come
Incredible performance. I listen to this everyday to feel inspired. I want to see them live this March, they're coming over to Singapore. Once in a lifetime opportunity probably.
for 6:11 I experienced freedom from the world! An irrisistable urge to move, to be happy, to forget everything and be swept away in a wall of noise! I applaud you.
@ArnoldwilliamDow actually, the only thing that is repeated are chords, i guess that's the only part of the music you can hear, as for the melody, it's supposed to be repeated, plus it's very long and there are like 3 different long melodies and tons of dynamics, i wouldn't call that repeating
@rolid311 =) this world my dear friend is so upside down that i think living on a whole different planet all by yourself would be a lot better. you see this incredible masterpiece has only 18 000 views while a little kid singing baby baby in a terrible attempt of a song has 250 million. this is so unbelievable for me...its almost like science fiction =D
@ArnoldwilliamDow Its a crescendo, who am i? I'm a composer, theorist, arranger, performer, multi instrumentalist, and band leader. If your a musician then you best be kind about judging others music. Also be accepting, yes this isnt the most technically difficult stuff (coming from a jazz/avant garde player). But its still good, and i find it ear candy to me.
@ArnoldwilliamDow even if it is repetitive, it doesn't mean it's not good, and who are you to say it's an uninteresting riff lol. to some it is interesting and that's why it's good it's repeated

Radio Protector is one of the perfect track to end a concert. It's hitting my soul and that feeling is damn good !

For 15 years I have been looking for a more perfect piece of music.
I am actually having an eargasm. This is what I call REAL music.

@geapsr Easy! Turn on the TV you will watch Lady Gaga everyday! How many times have you see 65dos on TV? None
If this "song" was a painting it would make the Mona Lisa appear as a scribbling made by a 3 year old.
