Val Kilmer played Jim Morrison beautifully. He skillfully captured Jim's aura of space and intellect with a delicate balance of ego and vulnerability. The Doors are a phenomenal band and classic movie as well.

Val, I've always wondered how you're doing. We met at the Roy Rogers house when your dad died. You arrived in a rental mustang convertible. Mark and Senga were there. You introduced your self. My reply; recently from Flugendorf prison. It confused you. Obviously, it was a snip from Top Secret. I renovated the Fate car for your dad. I understand that Gene took you to school in the thing. I fixed it so that the brakes actually worked. Your dad hired me to get some equipment going that he had up in the hills after the federal bankruptcy trustee took over everything. The trustee kicked me off the job after 2 days. I fixed 3 pieces of equipment and brought them to the house on Trigger St. Gene was hoping to sell them. All this negativity caused Gene to get that tumor. Kinda sad but, he had given up on life. He wished that he just had an acre of land off in New Mexico to go park a van on. He was really despondent. BTW, he gave me your brass bed that you had shipped out from music school. I think that I still have it,,, up in a log house in oregon that I built. I hope that New York is treating you better than New Mexico. Best of luck Dan
