EP.2 | DIY | Painting Bare Plastic Bars | Automotive Painting

Welcome to Episode 2!
This week I have this 2021 VW Transporter in to get all the bare plastic parts colour matched and painted. The colour on this particular van is LB9A Candy White.
The bumper bars were originally a factory texture coated bare plastic which made the van look outdated. So I went ahead and sanded the plastic smooth with 240 grit sand paper, applied 3 coats of a 2k high build primer, prepped the primed parts up with 400 grit sand paper and painted them in a Clear Over Base finish with a 2k High Solid Clear Coat.
