If these headphones are good for gaming or not - really depends on gaming type you choose: solo or party with comms. Headphones have very good audio quality overall BUT: 1) If you play FPS you will have to switch manually to Audio mode in mobile app to decrease latency. 2) In OS (tried both Win 10 & Ubuntu) headphones will be identified as 2 separate hardware items: headset & headphones: >>> Headphones are pretty ok, good overall sound as mentioned above and this manual switch to audio mode were the only small issues I faced in any games I played, or any devices I used them. If you play single player games, or don't need comms - you are good and this is a good price/quality IMHO. >>> Headset, on the other hand, provides possibility to use mic with lower audio quality ONLY (didn't dig into that, but my guess is that stereo is split to mono audio + mic channel), which is definitely ok for meetings like zoom, google meet etc., but in game you won't hear half of the sounds/SFX. At least exactly this happened as I tried to play Overwatch with comms: I could hear other players good, but missed half in-game sounds. Other half I heard was just in bad quality :) And thing is - as OS identifies both headset and headphones, even if you manually switch input to headset and output to headphones, you won't hear in-game sound at all, whereas you will hear teammates speaking just fine. It seems that using headset has a priority over headphones and it blocks other channels if is used.
I just bought these headphones and the rubbers are really annoying because you can hear your steps, the wind and when you're chewing; which don't allow to listen the music very well. I have other headphones without rubbers and this problem doesn't happen. Is there any solution?
Hi, could you please tell the difference between JBL tune flex and tune beam? I am very confused as to which one to buy. I'll really appreciate the help. Also may I ask how do these fit? Would they stay on while running/workouts or would they fall off?
I haven't tested the Tune Flex yet, so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information. These fit well for my ears, and I haven't had any issues with them falling out. They're quite stable while running up and down stairs, so I'm sure they'll be fine for work outs. But having said that, each person's ear construction is different, so fit will vary.
@@PaulsPOV Thank you so much, really appreciate the videos and the help! Could I request you to try and test the Tune Flex as well please whenever you get time? I am planning to buy these on sale so I have time until Independence day. I find your reviews very reliable so it'll be very helpful if you could draw comparisons between the 3 earbuds- JBL Tune Beam, Buds and Flex. If that is not possible could you please just tell me in brief which one you would prefer. I was confident on buying JBL Beam but it's 6mm drivers compared to 10mm in Buds and 12mm in Flex made me a bit hesitant. Is this a valid concern?
I'll try and get my hands on them before the sale. When it comes to driver size, from my experience, a larger driver doesn't necessarily equate to bigger or better sound. It always boils down to how well a driver has been tuned.
Hey Paul, thanks for all the effort you put into this video. Just a quick doubt, besides the simultaneous pairing, does it connect to a 3rd device or a 4th device by simply clicking connect inside Bluetooth settings on the phone/laptop or does it always require you to put it into pairing mode?
@@Kiwipeanutlove I suspect it's not possible because I found some guide on how to use the earbuds on JBL's website and they didn't mention that you can adjust the volume with it. But I'm not a 100% sure.

I haven't tested the Flex yet so can't comment on it. Between the other two, I find the Tune Beam to be more fun to listen to. If you listen to Hi-Res audio and have the source, the oppo does have LDAC support which will give you better detail but running LDAC will severely eat into battery life.

I bought a pair of Tune Beam based on this video. How do you turn on the 2 microphones? Can't find this feature. People complain they can hear everything around me
Turn on 2 microphones? They're always on and dealing with ANC. The ENC algorithm kicks in when you're on a call. See if there are any software updates to sort it out. The recording you hear is directly from the JBL microphones and unedited.
Great review my friend. I am looking to buy a good set of buds and right now where I live the JBL Tune Beams and the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 are at the same price currently, call quality is the most important aspect for me. What do you think?

Hi guys! I'm confused, I like it more bassy, so which should I get? JBL TUNE BEAM? OR JBL TUNE BUDS? is there any issues with this device? Which is better??
I found the JBL 230NC to be superior on overall audio compared to the Oppo enco air 2 pro. This Tune Beam, I think, is superior than the 230NC. I'm thinking about doing a comparison between the two JBLs.
It doesn't have in ear detection, so it won't pause your music or switch off that way. It should have a standby option in the app, which will only put it into stand-by mode if you pause your music. To switch the buds on again, you'll have to place them in the case.
Bro, planning to purchase TWS for 1st time mostly for calls, kindly suggest which one will be great?... Jbl tune beam r Oppo enco air 3 r anything else?
Both are good sets to own. If by any chance one of your priorities is battery life, the Tune Beam knocks the ball out of the park in the department. It can give you 10 hours on the buds alone with ANC on where as the oppo does half the amount of time with ANC on. Sound wise, the oppo has the edge over the Tune Beam primarily because it has LDAC support. When it comes to how they handle calls, I've got their call demos in each in-depth review. Feel free to give them a listen to see which one you prefer. The JBL will give you much longer call times, so it might make more sense for you.
Nothing comes close to airpods but it would be great if you can suggest earbuds under 7k for iphone very confused between jbl tune beam and oppo enco air3 pro
I have yet to get my hands on the air 3 pro, so I can't really comment on it. But if you're looking for an all-around package, oppo's usually are a no-nonsense set to own for years. I have yet to hear of someone having issues with a set of oppo earphones.

Left still at 80. It take another half an hour to the left side to become 70 Is that normal or not.....?? Please reply 🙏
Yup, it's normal. No two batteries are exactly the same. See how long they last you, listening at 40-50% volume. If it's close to the claimed time or more, they're perfectly fine.
Hey brother, would you be able to review the JBL Tune Buds TWS? I prefer the pill system over the stem system and I would like a thorough review of the above from you.
Okay i have reviewed all your videos of jbl tune beam, jbl 230 nc, jbl tune beam vs jbl 230 nc in the comparison vdo u said 230 nc is little bit louder than tune beam but tune beam is more accurate and defined in terms of sound if i am not wrong
Please suggest me one i m confused between tune beam vs 235nc as its upgraded version of 230 so i m getting tune beam at 3990/- with card offer and jbl 235 nc at 3500/- so which should i buy?? I want loud earphone.
@@PaulsPOV thankz bro>do you recommend this over tune flex? because in my country these two are in same price range, please help to choose me a best bass rich one
I haven't tested the Tune Flex, so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information about its details and how it sounds. But I do know the way they've designed them, they've wanted to give people the option of listening to them with an open or sealed style. If they sound anything like the Tune Beam, they'll be a fun set to listen to.
is that means a wired earphone currently i am using OnePlus Nord buds but i have first time seen you video now and i can close my eyes and buy any product you suggest my you are so much passionate about audio 😍❤ i can go with any wired earphone because everything i need is a good audio sir so please suggest me any product under 2000 rs seems to be best for you ❤
Have a look at my review on the Truthear Hola. It's super value for money. Its microphone doesn't have noise canceling like TWS earphones, but overall, the sound on these things is perfect for getting into the audiophile hobby. I think HeadphoneZone has a sale going on right now. You can follow the link in this videos description to see. Link provided : ruclips.net/video/2QTk0TZHCcU/видео.html
Finally bought tune beam aft ur review I found the sound on both sticks is very very low on full volume with max volume limiter off. I was using oneplus z2 band which sounds with 50% volume is matching with jbl tune beam in its max volume Might be any defective I have reset my tune beam twice but still problem remains Give me some suggestions
Try reducing the volume completely on your device and do the same via the earphones volume controls, after both are at zero, then increase the volume from you phone or earphone. This usually sorts out this volume issue. If it persists, it's worthwhile getting intouch with JBL about it. It's possible the unit is glitchy.
It might be the thing that is op wireless z2 is the one who produces the lot of volume in the sound. that makes you feel like JBL has lower volume. Actually the JBL has a right amount of volume. OP wireless z2 has more volume compare to any other headset in the market
#PaulBhaiya *My question is that according to you Mi Dual Driver vs Realme Buds 2 which is the best Wired Earphone out of these two? Please tell?* 🙏🏻😊🙃
I really like your videos. The efforts you take to dig deep into everything you can tell us about a device is absolutely amazing and I do feel that your videos should reach to a wider audience. I suggest you to compress the information that you give out in a video, this is just because as per the current trend..you know how short the attention span of audience is. Although I feel all the info you give is necessary and you might not even want to cut your videos short, but you deserve to reach more audience. 🙌🏽 All the best.
Hi Siddharth, thanks for the suggestion. I know what you're talking about. The chapters provided are pretty much for someone who doesn't have the time or attention span to absorb all the information provided. I like to stay thorough because it's the small bits of information that usually help someone understand a product better. Besides that, I've always felt that compressing my reviews might make my reviews like any other ones out there. Yes, it's a lot of effort, but my goal is to be able to help someone understand audio or audio products so they can connect to their music better. Reaching a wider audience will happen when it needs to. I'm in no rush 😊
What can damage hearing is prolonged listening at high volumes. Ideally, you shouldn't listen to volumes above 90-95dB for over 50 minutes and 80-85dB for over 2 hours. Listening to volumes around 60dB won't contribute towards hearing loss. I usually listen to wireless earphones around the 40-50% volume mark, which should sit at around 55-60dB. If you find yourself listening above 70-80% volume, you may have lost hearing sensitivity, and I'd strongly recommend seeing an audiologist if you'd want to know more about how your hearing is holding up.
ENC operates much like ANC. It reduces droning noises as much as it can and isolates your voice to pass through over a call. ENC is engaged automatically. There is no way to control it. It functions while on calls.
One more question or thing i came across while using them for long. It seems while on calls only right earbud microphone works while using both earbuds. When i use only one i.e only the left one then the mic for left tws works. But how to make sure mics on both the tws work at the same time
An awesome Video as always and One of the BEST PAIR OF BUDS. 🎉 Beautiful pair with wonderful specs on Buds as well as a wow Battery Life. *I really wish these were Half in ear* ..( I wouldn't have used ANC ) Being 'Background sound aware' it wouldn't mattered to me. Thanks for sharing ❤
Your review is excellent. Imo the best one out there. Unforch I bought these to replace my 1st generation wireless apple ear buds trying to save money, but am disappointed with the volume level. They just pale in comparison to the Apples. Guess Ill have to go give money to the mean mr mustard apple company. They do pair well w my flip Samsung phone and reach a significantly higher volume, which is a must for me. The timbre and sound also sound off a wee bit w these jbl's.
These are certainly on the softer side of things when it comes to its volume, but it's over all tuning is a big upgrade from what older models sounded like. Finer nuances like timbre, etc, have a way to go if you're particular about sound for sure. If you've spent a lot of time with apples stuff, you'll definitely be missing it.
@@PaulsPOV thank you for telling it like it is. Oh and BTW, I had them in my ears while watching several videos on this subject. Your sound that you're putting out during this vid was better than any of the sound from the songs in my RUclips Playlist lol. I can hear things a lot of people can't, I think I do at least.
I presume you're an audiophile to a certain extent, then! It starts like this with some folk when they start realizing small differences in audio. Consider looking at some of my audiophile reviews, too. There's some terrific stuff out there these days that won't really hurt the wallet, provides you're okay using a cabled connection, of course.
I haven't tested them yet, so I can't really comment about their performance with sound. But from my experience, a larger driver doesn't necessarily equal better sound. It boils down to how it's been tuned.

Yup, it's normal. No two batteries are exactly the same. See how long they last you, listening at 40-50% volume. If it's close to the claimed time or more, they're perfectly fine.
My jbl tuen beeam is automatically switching to ambient aware in call and cannot switch back to anc some one please help.
Put your voice aware feature off from the app if you want ANC during calls.
jbl tune beam or sony wfc700nb?
I haven't tested the Sony yet, so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information.
@@PaulsPOV Thanks.
Hey brother, would you be able to review the JBL Tune Buds TWS?
I prefer the pill system over the stem system and I would like a thorough review of the above from you.
I'll see what I can do.

Thank you for the reply brother much appriciated❤

@PaulsPOV please reply
Tune flex or tune beam ?? Im confused.
I haven't tested the Tune Flex, so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information.
230NC or this which is better for bass freak?
Overall, the Tune Beam! Unless you're into the whole loudness game!

👆🏼My comparison between the two.
Hello @everyone, Give Me Case Cover Link Of This Buds.
does it have wireless charging?
No it does not.
What is the price??
Just search 💀
Great review. Thanks. My long time used headphones just died and I already order these. Seem to be perfect for me.
Enjoy your new earphones 😊
Pls do a comparison between these and tune230nc
That's a terrific idea!
sir if i only want best audio quality with mic and i can compromise with all features for it what will be best earphones under 2000 rs
For the best audio you should consider picking up IEMs. They're quite detailed compared to any TWS earphones.
is that means a wired earphone currently i am using OnePlus Nord buds but i have first time seen you video now and i can close my eyes and buy any product you suggest my you are so much passionate about audio 😍❤
i can go with any wired earphone because everything i need is a good audio sir so please suggest me any product under 2000 rs seems to be best for you ❤
Have a look at my review on the Truthear Hola. It's super value for money. Its microphone doesn't have noise canceling like TWS earphones, but overall, the sound on these things is perfect for getting into the audiophile hobby. I think HeadphoneZone has a sale going on right now. You can follow the link in this videos description to see.

Great review! 💪💪💪
Finally bought tune beam aft ur review
I found the sound on both sticks is very very low on full volume with max volume limiter off.
I was using oneplus z2 band which sounds with 50% volume is matching with jbl tune beam in its max volume
Might be any defective
I have reset my tune beam twice but still problem remains
Give me some suggestions
Try reducing the volume completely on your device and do the same via the earphones volume controls, after both are at zero, then increase the volume from you phone or earphone. This usually sorts out this volume issue. If it persists, it's worthwhile getting intouch with JBL about it. It's possible the unit is glitchy.
It might be the thing that is op wireless z2 is the one who produces the lot of volume in the sound. that makes you feel like JBL has lower volume. Actually the JBL has a right amount of volume. OP wireless z2 has more volume compare to any other headset in the market
I bought jbl 130nc few days back, even though it's 10mm driver, the volume is bit low on some songs

*My question is that according to you Mi Dual Driver vs Realme Buds 2 which is the best Wired Earphone out of these two? Please tell?*
🙏🏻😊🙃
I haven't tested the realme buds 2 so I'm not sure how they hold up to the Mi dual driver. I tested the Mi years ago and quite liked it.
Hi can you please add a depth review on jbl live pro 2 TWS
I really like your videos. The efforts you take to dig deep into everything you can tell us about a device is absolutely amazing and I do feel that your videos should reach to a wider audience.
I suggest you to compress the information that you give out in a video, this is just because as per the current trend..you know how short the attention span of audience is. Although I feel all the info you give is necessary and you might not even want to cut your videos short, but you deserve to reach more audience. 🙌🏽
All the best.
@@PaulsPOV Appreciate your perspective 🙌🏽
@@PaulsPOV I agree with you. Also if one doesn't have enough time they can just skip to the Conclusion chapter to get what they were looking for.
Excellent review.
very nice explanation sir. keep it up
can a longer listening over 3-4 hour damage the ear ? or can a good eartips overcome this things?
What can damage hearing is prolonged listening at high volumes. Ideally, you shouldn't listen to volumes above 90-95dB for over 50 minutes and 80-85dB for over 2 hours. Listening to volumes around 60dB won't contribute towards hearing loss. I usually listen to wireless earphones around the 40-50% volume mark, which should sit at around 55-60dB. If you find yourself listening above 70-80% volume, you may have lost hearing sensitivity, and I'd strongly recommend seeing an audiologist if you'd want to know more about how your hearing is holding up.
Waiting for the Enco Air 3 Pro .....

sir when you are selling these earbuds as 2 hand
I don't sell these products as I keep them for potential future reviews and comparisons. It's more helpful to others if I do that rather than sell it.
how do you rate against the 230NC? comparing the costs can we have a similar performance with it?
This does have a few more features than the 230NC. Sound wise, it might be close. I'm planning on doing a comparison between the two before the sale.
10% discount Offer code doesnt work !! :( ..any idea ?
Let me check this out.
There seems to have been a technical glitch. It should be up and running by tomorrow, I'm told.
Thanks a lot. Very very helpful video
9:38 does the ENC work only with traffic noise, or every other noise around?
Do we have to keep the ANC on to achieve ENC as well?
ENC operates much like ANC. It reduces droning noises as much as it can and isolates your voice to pass through over a call. ENC is engaged automatically. There is no way to control it. It functions while on calls.
One more question or thing i came across while using them for long. It seems while on calls only right earbud microphone works while using both earbuds. When i use only one i.e only the left one then the mic for left tws works. But how to make sure mics on both the tws work at the same time
Very nice video!😊

An awesome Video as always and One of the BEST PAIR OF BUDS. 🎉
Beautiful pair with wonderful specs on Buds as well as a wow Battery Life.
*I really wish these were Half in ear* ..( I wouldn't have used ANC ) Being 'Background sound aware' it wouldn't mattered to me.
Thanks for sharing ❤
How to increse to max volume or is it less compared to normal
Bro so many people are facing the issues with this earbuds,is that real

Jbl tune buds have bigger driver than this so will it be better than this buds
I haven't tested them yet, so I can't really comment about their performance with sound. But from my experience, a larger driver doesn't necessarily equal better sound. It boils down to how it's been tuned.
So details and consumed time 😅
