The scene with Livia looked odd because she was CGI’d in. The actress who portrayed Livia(Nancy Marchand) passed away during filming of season 2-3.
The Uncle Ben scene is one of the funniest Sopranos scenes ever tbh

Yes. Patsy knows that Tony was the one who killed his twin brother Phil back in Season 1, and Tony knows that he knows. But it's also clear HOW hard he's taking it. And this is dangerous for Tony both because Patsy could try to get revenge (which he ALMOST did, trying to shoot him earlier but being unable to go through with it), or could even possibly become an FBI informant.
To prevent this, Tony indirectly threatens the Parisi kids, betting that even if Patsy doesn't care much about his own life anymore, he'll certainly care about theirs.
Families don't get touched. Tony would be way out of line for something like that and enough to cause a mutiny. Patsys brother got touched because he was also a member, the rest of patsy family are off limits. It was actually quite the opposite. He brought up his family getting a new house when he came over, like he will be doing well there.
Or he could wait a few years and have Tony killed in front of his entire family.

I love how believable it is that Janice and Tony were raised by Livia. Both egocentric, wounded, very entertaining jerks.
Tony wasn’t directly threatening his kids. It was more like trying to remind him not to do anything dumb, or he’ll be dead and his family fatherless.
When Furio is talking about Survivor in the corridor, with Paulie and Tony, you see Pusy's ghost in the mirror when Tony opens a door. Hope you caught that moment.
The fact Olivia died so unexpectedly in this case was because the actress died during filming, but that didn't matter much in The Sopranos because there are always so many unusual and surprising things that happen, which is what makes the series so special.
I can't remember which episode is about which, but theoretically the next one could be about a looming gang war, and if you expect the sequel in the one after that, it could be about AJ thinking about which college he should go to, and the one after that could be about something completely different that nobody would have thought of, as is typical of the Sopranos. 😅
The Racism is so well written, Meadow's rebuttals to Tony are excellent, it's a classic thing in Italian Mob movies about always blaming "those two black guys, they ran that way", Tony's history with it reaches a climax in Season 5's Unidentified Black Males

Two of my favorite eps, 1 for the great Peter Gunn/Police mashup and 2 for the hilarity of the "remembrance".
21:29 He was referencing the first Godfather film when Vito Corleone tells the undertaker (the guy we see Vito talking to at the very beginning of the film) he wants him to use all his powers and skills to make Sonny look presentable for his funeral.
Aida Turturro (Janice) was supposed to only be on the show for one season, but when Nancy Marchand died, David Chase said that they needed another female character to drive Tony crazy, so they brought Janice back. BTW - Aida Turturro is first cousin to John Turturro.
The funeral scene is one of the best, funniest scenes in the show. The cast all say that they couldn't stop laughing and almost had to quit trying. Every time that song would play, hilarity would break out.

Personally I don't care about the Sopranos, but if you haven't watched it Breaking Bad would be a great series for reactions. I like your classic movies reactions the best though.
