- Intro scene from the episode 'Paradise Lost' (1x09), showing us Daphne's dream of how their lives would look like if her and Bay never got switched.
I also like the scene because Daphne might be shocked that Bay gets emmett in both lives
Yup even when the episode when they act like the switch never happened as well when they acted like Regina told the truth. bay would have always had Emmett
I know it is pretty off topic but do anyone know of a good website to stream new tv shows online ?

Ofcourse all actors and actresses here did an amazing job but I have to say Vanessa/Bay did it a great job as playing deaf in her part.

One of the best scenes in my opinion.
I love this scene I wish Daphnee/Bay Vanessa Morano's character had been more like this version of Daphnee (if the switch hadn't happened) in the Christmas special.

Because that episode was part of the "be careful what you wish for/thankful for what you have"-genre.
From what little we see in Daphne's dream, everything is happy and idyllic, which would have made it harder to communicate the absolute urgency for them to go back to how things were.
It would only be a general " I guess I like my own life"-vibe, but it wouldn't be surprising if they chose to live in the dream world for a couple of weeks or so, just for the experience, and that would mess up the flow of the episode (and destroy the whole christmas-miracle plot)
If the switch didn't happen things would have been different bay would be deaf Daphne hearing living a better life and Emmett would have known bay a lot longer than they will be together because they have so many things in common instead it went the other way around but only Regina new about everything and melody did a invetageastion on bay so that she would know everything about her
It’s not a guarantee that they would’ve Bay would have been deaf had she go the same sickness that Daphne did
Alternative reality check were bay deaf living her biological mother Daphne not deaf living with her biological family interesting 👪
Wish they had done some more episodes like this where it shows what life would have been like if they didn't get switched.
But like, how was she dreaming with sound if she’s deaf and has never heard anything before? Make it make sense!

wouldn't Daphne be called something else considering Bay is called Bay cuz of her wavy hair?

0:31 the mom said I love you to deaf girl and she didn't see her say it but yet she turned around and said it back to the mom . Did I miss something ?.
It's a dream. A dream where they were never switched at birth, so she never went deaf, the other girl did. It wasn't genetic, she caught something when she was little, so in this scenario the other girl caught it instead of her.

Because Daphne got meningitis when she was 3 so they're basing it off if Bay was with her biological parents then she would be the one who got meningitis causing her to go deaf xxx

I mean, this thing in particular is a dream sequence, so it making no sense is a moot point - this is one scenario Daphne's mind imagined. If anything, you should critique it in the Christmas switch episode, although I would say it is justified there as well, because the point is not realism (it's a switched-life story, how realistic can it be), it's showing one of many possible alternate universes that a) retain the deaf part that is quite integral to the show, b) are nice at first, but c) turn out to be awful at the end.
Sure, you could have an episode where both are hearing, but not only did they (sort of) do something like that already (in the AU where Daphne was adopted by the Kennishes at age three and got a cochlear), it would take more time to establish Bay's vastly different life as a hearing Daphne.
How is Daphne dreaming in sound?
doesn't she listen to very hard rock music? if it's loud enough she can hear a bit or maybe it's just vibrations.
