I feel like I'm peering into a dream when I watch the couture seamstresses design in their own little world of beauty and amazement
videodude23 Some say wearing a "haute couture" dress or whatever has nothing to see with any clothes you can find in a common shop.
I do not know if it's true (i suppose it is due to the price of these stuffs) first i'm a man and second i'm not rich enough for buying even a ready-to-wear Chanel item.

my jaw dropped at the amount of work which goes into each and every piece!! the dedication and attention is truly amazing.
The flowers made from what looks like mixed-up acrylic paint that dries and is then cut out... Any ideas what the technique is called or how it is even done? My kids at school would love it.

I’m thinking you could possibly achieve it with PVA glue mixed with paints or inks and it would dry like rubber. If you use a plastic folder as a work surface it would peel right off when it’s dry. You can also drop beads or glitter into it.

Many thanks to the House of Chanel and to the genius creations that Karl Lagerfeld has created. The attention to detail that goes into couture is incredible, all of it! "Couture isn't dead" Lagerfeld has sad before, and with Karl being the mastermind behind this couturier, it shall never be dead.

I love the royal gradient blue. All of these remind me of Monet's waterlilies pallete. The tiered white dress (not in this vid) reminded of of a jellyfish :)
