I had a family member who worked at a local Ford dealer and he took me for a ride in one of these :D I also got to ride in a few cobras and even a GT!
That dashboard plastic is actually really durable, compared to chevys and dodges of that era

Although he did praise it more than most if not all other cars he reviews, it's nice to see Christian actually point out flaws of a Ford, unlike...ahem...some of the other reviewers.

I hate tacky things on cars and trucks. But I have a lightning and theres nothing on it that makes it tacky? Sorry but this is the most beautiful looking truck ever made and its fast as hell. It has a nice front end and rear and rims. Not one spot is tacky. So I cant wrap my head around what the hell you are thinking.

I had that truck 2004 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning the colour is called sonic blue my only complaint was I just wish it had the automatic shift on the floor and not on the steering column I wish I never had gotten rid of that truck every time I see one I get a weird feeling in my stomach ! I had White racing stripes on mine set it off really nice plus I had a lot of engine work and exhaust done just a sick truck! 🔥🏁💙
I have a 99 and a 04. The 99 is higher but the 04 is lower. The lower turn signal is better.

The turn signal lever is mounted so low. I'd miss hitting that if I was driving lol I think the Ecoboost f150 would equal this. Or the tundra 5.7, ram hemi, or silverado 6.2. Good video

eidolonbreed Love that 93 octane is a high grade fuel in the US. I put in 99 or 100 Octane her in the UK. Picking up my 2001 Lightning tomorrow :-) May as well run in on our cheap 97 octane fuel ;-)
If you have the basic bolt ons and a 6-speed manual tranny you might beat the Lightning.

Probably not. This truck is about a second and a half faster to sixty than any of those trucks.

It’s a reliable truck but your not gonna keep it stock trust me. Any car will become a money pit cause you’ll end up modding it.

The people who live across the street from me have a 00 expedition a different the paint is coming off the dash, center stack, the cover for the cigarette lighter doesn't stay up, the cupholders are broken, etc.
And this F150 is ugly. And in the crash test, they crumple like a beer can.

This gen f150 probably is arguably the ugliest and worst overall, but the most reliable mechanically. That eddie bauer expedition looked clean too.
