Calton Cats

In 2023, Glasgow Building Preservation Trust worked with Calton Gaelic Primary School to explore the heritage of Calton, where their new school is soon to be opened. We drew inspiration from the rich textile heritage of the city's east end - especially dyeing and printmaking - trades that had historic associations with Gaelic-speaking communities in the city.
