Hey Harvey thanks for the shout out!! I really like what J&S is doing, very interesting watching him port a mac!! And yep, I cam send a picture of any saw and Kensie knows what it is in about 3 seconds flat!!
you probably dont give a shit but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Moses Arturo i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Funny how it’s just the little things sometimes. That Klotz took me way back to when my motorcycle life began. I bought my first Klotz product in 1993 at 13 years old for my 1975 DT175 Yamaha. Fun memories.
I could not agree more about Bayou Country Power Saws and Tinman. They are as good of people as can be found and man they lay down some knowledge! I am stoked on this saw build Harv. It's going to rip!
Oh the ole Silver Back what a sweet saw. Gonna be cool to see what happens with that bad boy. Thanks for the crankcase info. Always educational buddy love it man. Thanks Harv. Hi Cullen I know your around there somewhere buddy. 🌲❤🌲✊
It’s nice to see something like what your doing on the bottom up builds and a nice tip on how to keep the tool together so nothing gets lost and you spend Hrs looking for it thank mr Harvey 👍👍👍🍺🍺

Love your videos and unboxing a farmtec 372 parts kit right now. Ordered with 3 jugs 2 50mm and a 52mm. Gonna take my time and match my jug to my cases which probably means assembling for numbers then a tear down or I might just go for it with the big bore. Definitely gonna do some port work. Thanks for making a video after I asked about burs/cutters. I’ll be watching even when I don’t have a saw to tinker on. Got a lathe for making the 272 piston work.
We are a multi brand operation, but are heavy on the Jonsered side. My favorite falling saw is a Jonsered 910E and my youngest son has several items, of which, I don't know the models. All I can say is, Jonsereds have served us well. As used equipment, has only had one weakness and that was weak rubber anti vibration handle mounts that were prone to pulling apart. Harvey, I have been having internet issues. Just when you announced your new connection, our internet went south. We are working on solving these problems so we can keep up with our favorite channels. I struggled to complete this one comment. Nick, North West Farmer
Hi Harvey and Cullen!!😀😀 I'm pretty sure it's a 621 J red!! I always wanted one of those but never bought one. I used to run a lot of of 49sp J reds cutting 3 and 4 stick plantation pine when I was in my early teens. But my dad wouldn't buy a 621 and they quit making them by the time I started buying my own saws. Take care buddy!! TTYL!! Logger Al
So I’m not real big on subscribing but I’ve been watch you for a while now. You do some interesting stuff. I know ya got an 066 but in my opinion the best Stihl saw is an 064. Been building them a long time but finding 064 parts is getting real hard. Keep up the good work.
HARVEY TRIED YOUR HOMEFRIES RECIPE WITH SOME BEACON ,POACHED EGGS AND BEANS ,THEY WERE GREAT😁😁😁👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽✊✊✊ TOTALY OFF TOPIC BUT WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW YOUR A GOOD CHEF ALSO
Hello Harvey, could you please put together a needed tool list to help out us new builders. I love the way you give knowledge and credit where it is needed, keep up the good work! I have been running a Poulan pro 5020 for just a about a year in stock form, the only change has been an upgrade to an Oregon bar and chains, and I was wondering if I should pick up a second saw with a shorter bar, or just replace the bar again on this saw, and order a longer bar for bucking fire wood? I believe that a minimum of 3 saws will be in my shed in the future, but right now I will work with what I have. Also what mods would you recommend for this saw, I was thinking of a sprocket up grade, porting, and carb & exhaust mods in the future, but is this saw worth it, because I keep hearing that they are not meant for the long run of use, beyond 3-5 years of daily torture, they are said to be the weekend worrier or as a somebody said a “ pinch saw” ( when there is nothing else available), do you know if this is just bs or is there any truth to the bashing?
Those Jonsereds 621 were strong 56cc saws. Running 3/8 with 8pin rim sprocket from factory. Jonsereds was really ahead of time at late 60s and 70s. Also Jonsered IMO are the best looking saws :) i have one 621 carcass but crankcase is unusable.
My best friends dad was a jonsered dealer back in the 80's up till now tho retired. I was 16 in '92 so you guy's know what I got to c go through there in the haydays
I got a jonsered 70e that looks just like that it runs amazing the only problem I had with it was the plastic trigger likes to break off and render the saw useless. Fortunately theres a guy on ebay that machines all aluminum triggers for them there definitely worth the 30 dollar investment
I watched a guy who put the cases in the oven for an hour at 400 while the crank was down below freezing and the crank slipped in like a finger in the ass
Hey Uncle Harvey hey check out wiha Allen wrenches they are the absolute best made Allen drivers made. They are made in Germany they are a little more expensive but well worth the extra money trust me. Oh by the way Amazon sells them
Cheap tools are just that cheap my dad would say the most expensive tool you can buy is the one that has to be replaced because it wears out or breaks to soon
I may or may not have played around with that cylinder a little bit the cylinder was toasted anyway there was a ridge at the top of it after I did what I did to it it would run for about 30 seconds and then shut off

Klotz....man the memories of my 2 brothers and their friends racing and riding motorcycles back in the day....wish we had smell-o-vision....

Thanks for showing us how the bottom end goes together!
The first saw I learned to use in the Forestry Commission here in Scotland in 1976 !

Nice looking jred Walt has a liking for the older jonsered ,a fleet command

I've built 5 of the Farmertec Stihl clones they are alot of fun to tinker with
I have some of those Johnson Reds, they are good saws!
Not that old though!
GOOD EVENING
Harvey if you run across another J-red like that I would love to buy one of them!! I've always liked those saws.
This is gonna be fun i was thinking about doing 1 of these and also building a 440 mag for my brother this will help thank you for all you do

Big old 50 something CC beast!!!
Like the saw
Hay Harvey have you ever tried a floating crank mod on a saw before.? Just wounding if it would work .ps love your work big thumbs up 👍
Love the smell of klotz!
Hey killinger!
What is klotz?
@@jolkraeremeark6949 2 strole oil
Klotz is a fuel additive that has nitro in it! Nitro releases a large amount of oxygen under compression which allows you to add more fuel!

Dang it Harvey....." Cut towards your Buddy, not your Body"! You worry me with your cutting techniques. lol, ColdBear.
Hey Harv..❤️🙏💪
How do you feel about using high tac or gasket dressing on your gaskets?
We still have a 625 jonsered
KLOTZ candles on Ebay, survey says notta
If it has the S on the end of Jonsered then it’s old and original.. They went from Jonsereds to Jonsered when Husqvarna bought them..
I got a 621 like that, no spark
Stay safe
