Yes. That's one like branch got a flag for last year for no reason. Whenever I see a great, hard hit that you can even hear I got nervous the refs will flag it for no reason
Thank you so much for doing these film studies coach. I watch a lot of Lions RUclipsrs and even though you're a Ravens fan you show this team more love than I've seen from most creators that cover Lions content exclusively
I enjoy the looking format as much as the shorter stuff. The Brian Branch recognition during the James Houston pressure was a great recognition of why that play was DOA. Give me bear defense video. I have no idea what that is.
And the defense is just going to get better with Z'Darius Smith, allowing our inside guys to remain inside more often. James Houston sighting looks like he's getting some of that bend back. Brian Branch might be the best safety in the league. We're finding that balance to make up for the loss of SAM Derrick Barnes. Alim McNeill is just showing up big when we need him. Alex Anzalone is just a great LB and in my opinion very underrated for what he's asked to do. I wish all our defense players had that motor, like Hutch.
Another awesome video, thanks for chronicling this historic season as it goes on. I don't think the video was too long, there's a lot of quality plays to go over.
I think something that doesn't get mentioned regarding Aaron Glenn's defense is that he's playing a bunch of guys that on other years might not even be on the game day roster making plays like they were meant to be there. Like you said, put players in a position to win. I like that he seemed to make adjustments in the 2nd half. I think the offense in the 1st half was a Goff thing. Maybe he didn't have confidence in Skipper and maybe the playbook was was smaller with him in there. He seemed to be off for most of the game.
I think the lions needed this game offensively because the last couple games the offense really only been practicing and haven’t really needed to be in rhythm think they gone hang a 40 ball on the jags
I loved the long video breaking down this second half defense. They played so good it was definitely worth pointing out everything you did. Fantastic job as alwaysZ
I was hoping you would come out with this very breakdown of the Lions defense in the second half, and you did not disappoint, thank you. And no, it wasn't too long. Great job of covering all three levels of the defense with emphasis on the great plays. Please keep it up.
Seeing this play with Anzo on Schultz, I think Kerby needs to id that Schultz is the most dangerous and help over the top. Not sure if his eyes are on QB or not. The other routes didn't seem an issue. Idk.
Good video as usual, on our podcast just Win Baby Detroit we also highlighted how we felt the biggest area of impact from hutch injury, was our run defense, we went from giving up an average of 90 yards a game to over 120, and that 120 includes the cowboys game hutch played in where we have up 53 yards rushing
My biggest pet peave is everyone wants stats to justify a players caliber. If the player disrupts the play, then the job is done. It's a team sport. I appreciate the comment about Reader. How many holes has he plugged and prevented a running back from gaining yards even if he didn't make the tackle. No one will know because it's not on the stat sheet.
Jack Campbell is a swinging tombstone out there. He delivers 250 lb shots that ball carriers dont forget. 31 other teams know that Jack leaves a beating and Anzo never misses a JOP. Love those 2. Outstanding pair of backers.
The offense has been doing so well all year long, the defense has been extremely overlooked by the media and the NFL. This defense is playing at an extremely high level. I am especially impressed with how well the LB’s are playing across the board. Nobody runs on Detroit. This defense is fast and well coached
Paschal may not have pass rush juice but he is an elite rum defender from his postion. He makes terrific plays on runners if not passers. He and Z should form a good 1-2 punch with our bigs up the pipe.
Yeah, that 2nd CD3 pick, first, great hustle by CD3 and not giving up. But I agree Arnold was wrong there. He should have dropped back with the receiver and could have had a pick if he was deeper. He's a frustrating player. He obviously has the skill but I think he lacks confidence right now. Still adjusting to NFL speed and getting lost at times. He's a rookie, but he should be picking some of this up by now. And the panic penalties...he's lucky he didn't get called on that last one before the missed field goal. My concern with him coming out was his penalties.
It just got forcibly edited by the NFL, or by the RUclips content program. My apologies. It has been heavily edited and is really unwatchable at this point.
Aaron Glenn needs a medal. The fact that Jack effing Campbell looks like he's becoming a competent coverage LB when needed just speaks volumes for what this team is doing. Dude was damn good in other facets of the game, but that's not the first time he's done well in that situation this season. Edit: Your comment on Reader is dead on. He and McNeill are a fun tandem to watch simply because of how easily they blow up plays, eat space, and shed blocks. The Lions D is not as good without the both of them.

Thank you for letting me know. I was already aware of it unfortunately. We are sometimes forced to edit our work significantly when the NFL claims monetization of some content.
Did anyone catch Vaki on that teams play?!
@@JoshPiland yea bro he used to play safety he can tackle too
Yes. That's one like branch got a flag for last year for no reason. Whenever I see a great, hard hit that you can even hear I got nervous the refs will flag it for no reason

These breakdowns are just unmatched by anyone. We appreciate the hell out of you coach!
Vaki double tackle!!!!!! It was amazing!

I appreciate the additional focus on defensive concepts lately. I also love it when you talk about line play.

Great job Coach, the time flew with the way you present.
I love your long break downs. I’m disappointed when they are not! And you’re breaking down my team! Keep it coming!
really love your breakdowns, man! just keep doing what you do, no notes.
Great breakdown as always. Keep up the good work.

Awesome video! Ive always drawn more towards the defense and love the breakdowns. Hoping Campbell can be our middle for a long time
I think the lions needed this game offensively because the last couple games the offense really only been practicing and haven’t really needed to be in rhythm think they gone hang a 40 ball on the jags
The longer the better, your in-depth breakdowns have no peer. Excellent work
great video as always

100%. Great point.
Great stuff thanks !
Great breakdown
12:11 once I saw that verticals I immediately knew which play it was CD3 is a beast
I'm impressed by the level of depth in our defense this year. They won that game for us in Texas, no doubt!

I’ve never seen, or at least noticed any of your other videos being choppy. But this one happened quite a few times.

Brian Branch is special
AG will be number 1 HC candidate for next year.

I still worry about the ravens. Just feels like a bad match up for our d.
THANK YOU ALL 22 😤🙏🏽 I have literally learned more football watching you

Great breakdowns, but whoever edits your videos keeps cutting it mid sentence multiple times. Kind of annoying. Let me know if you need an editor.
