I just ordered my Humminbird fish finder. Same one you have installed here. Not really for the saltwater I primarily fish, got it for findin’ the specks(crappie) in the St John’s River System we have here. And big lakes to. They go deep and I want to find them easier. This looks like the easy way.
I am curious to how this works out I am thinking of putting this exact setup on my sundolphin pro 120. Just not sure about the mounting spot and length of the power cord my boat is 11ft
Mount it close to where your battery will be located if you are worried about the length of your power cord, although I am sure you can extend the power cord if needed with a couple of connectors and extra wire.
Did your scotty transducer arm mount come with all the hardware to put the transducer on the arm ? I just got one today and there is no screws or hardware for the transducer.

The hardware comes with the fish finder.
how'd the fish finder work our been thinking of getting on for my kayak also
Michael Hensley It works out real good man. I use it every weekend, no issues whatsoever. Go for it.
Did you have any issues with the Scotty mount and your gear track? Mine won’t stay in the rail good.
I didnt have any issues. You just have to turn the gear head adapter until its as tight as you want it.
can you stand with no worry on this kayak?
Yes. It does take a little getting used to at first, but once you do it comes natural.
