this is an unbelievably fantastic performance, the scenografy is genial, the singing is superbe! Viva Maestro Rossini, a joy forever
I cought this opera years ago on Film & Arts channel. Loved it! So well played, so funny and so many great voices!
Quest' opera meno conosciuta è un assoluto capolavoro. Musica geniale ed appassionante, Rossini al meglio.
Fabulous performance of Rossini's great masterpiece - Sonia Prina really shines in this part and is outstanding - Bravo! ♥
The sinfonia is a true masterpiece!!
Perfetto!!! Miracoli!!!👏👏👏
regia geniale! Fantastico Pacuvio!
Sai dove l'anno allestito?
Rossini - is just the greatest.
Simply lovely, charming and witty!
maravilloso Rossini, exquisito, el mejor!!!!
A masterpiece!
Bravi tutti I cantanti!....bravi.
I think using special effects for the stage is a genial idea ! I do like that very much ;o) Well done! And, as usual, Rossini is a genius!

Wonderful special effects.
Nicer for the ears than for the eyes
¡Una gozada!. Sorprendida por la producción. Bella en su completo. muy amena. Una verdadera delicia escuchar tan magníficas voces. GRACIAS MIL por compartir tanto talento. 🍀 Felicidades
Viva la musica di Gioachino Rossini
grande regia e scenografia ........ ottime voci
Such amazing talent, sensational sound and so funny. Thank you.
Thank you so much for posting it! It is by far my favourite opera (and next to that; what's not to love about this production?)
indeed, one of the most imaginative productions out there.
The production is disgusting, anything related to Rossini, a bunch of TVs projecting peoples faces? Really? No sync music with the curtain? Empty stage...
I know Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?
I somehow lost the login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Judah Otto instablaster ;)
@@Danihogwda love it!!!! 💘😍🏩
Subliem. Wat een spel. Knap!!
J’adore ecoute missipipi 40:58
wunderbar!
The trio beginning at 1:08:10 sounds very good; the epitome of bel canto. It might be a lot of fun if my German comprehension were a bit better. That said, I find that as much as I enjoy the voice and orchestra on this production, I can't seem to relate to the staging. OK for something to provide good audio accompaniment to office work.
This is both vocally Primo and artistically genius!!
Sounds really good if you don't watch
génial vu à PARIS !
remembered at W.A. Mozart wonderful genius melodies
2:37:22 start the ending
And a love duet between a bass and a mezzo! How often does that appear in the opera world?
nowhere near often enough! More power to Rossini.
lehar Dorabella and Guglielmo in _Così fan Tutte_ of Mozart!!;-)
La Gioconda: Alvise & Laura .
Boris : Marina & Rangony
Justino Diaz-Villarini I don't think a duet featuring a husband telling his wife he's going to murder her such as the one between Alvise and Laura can be labelled as a love duet.
L' oeuvre la plus subtile de Rossini
Bizarement peu enregistree .
E l'orchestra qual è? E' mai possibile che contino solo i direttori?
I am crazy about this opera. I don't understand /speak much Italian . Would someone please tell me the premise of the Opera. Thank.
The Count is looking for a wife but in order to avoid gold diggers he pretends he's broke. Most of the women (aside from Clarice) around him piss off as soon as they find out. He and Clarice hit it off in that delightful duet about the echo and eventually stay together.
You've got it all on Wikipedia.
D Dehggial -very helpful. Thanks for responding .
Fred Etioles I did check out Wikipedia. Too much information , however, I have the flavor of the Opera. I love Rossini’s Operas !
1:04:16 its you every vacation time if you are father of big family
this production looks so much like the production of *Clari by Halévy* Moshe Leiser & Patrice Caurieron Decca
which was later than this production.

I do not like modern productions. The actual opera is set in the 19th century. They ruin the whole work in favor of the production.I do not think the composer would have loved this.
In principle I agree, but you should not miss this great production. Rossini would have liked it a lot and you can watch a production of the Piccola Scala from 1982 on youtube somewhere else anyway. i will stay here.
This kind of production is not the devil as for someone, but I would see it better on a 1 act farce, like the first Rossini operas
I loved the singers, but I didn't really like the production. I understand they didn't have money to build sets, that's OK, LOL, but abusing technology...to create a background and special effects does not represent the story in Pietra di Paragone. I doubt Rossini would have liked it. But I don't know, I may be the only one who didn't like the production.
I listened without watching. Much better that way !
I agree that the sets are nothing more than a perversion totally unrelated to the story of the opera. It is preferable to listen to it without viewing it.
I glissati nella sinfonia sono inascoltabili
The
Ii had to look away when the fish appeared on screen. I shan't be keeping this video.
How to ruin the good with the ridiculous.
A dreadful rubbish production. A CD would be better.
Ok singing, awful awful production
