Excellent looking design update! Lower & lighter is where new armor needs to go. Needs only the addition of onboard anti-drone ECM and kinetic countermeasures (probably in development already?)
If they are going to make un-manned turret, they should move the crews to the back of the tank, where the power pack is. and move the power pack in front, as in Merkava tank. even the driver should be in the back compartment.
also it os bases on the leopard 2 and not a new design. much less work. the next really new tanknis already planned for germany, this one here could be a in between solution.
just for gaijin to add into another nation, modeled more properly, then leave a trash stock on the germany, with no spall liner whatsoever then compensate the upset german mains with copy and paste another weak easy to penetrate LEO as premium, and another dogahh plane
I doubt it will go into production, Germany is getting the leopard 2a8 and then there is the panther prototype I doubt they will go with this one even if it's a join project though they can use the new technology in this new prototype. @@homelandfighters8541
Why missile? Why not Leutering Drones? Doesn't it reach the 6000 with the 130/140mm canon? Missile will not help against a KA-52 with a range of ~15km... guess, they still have a lot to do.
because this missle is as long as the hole gun of a leopard. Its not very hard to make a missle with a long reach if you have the space of an attack helicopter. its like saying why cant you attack a helicopter from the main gun.. And it doesnt care eitherway because it has an active defence system which destroys missles of attack helicopters meters before the tank. There is no need to even care about it why would you want to attack it from a tank
@@wolflarsen1900 sorry for being misunderstood, I don't care much about KA-52. The Point is, why do you need a missile with a 6km range, while doing the same stuff with your cannon. Reason, a missile is normally much more expensive then a mbt shell and you get no additional skills. It's like looking on North Korean new MBT and making the same rediculous stuff.
A 50 dollar drone or a 100 dollar bomb is enough to destroy that tank. So why would a country spend 7 million dollars to buy a tank? Scientific answer please.
Drones are now a much bigger threat as in the future. Antiaircraftguns, jammers and so on will envolve. The tank itself will envolve. There will be always the try from humans to protect yourself and drones wont put an end to this. There is no other weapon, that has that much firepower combined with speed AND protection. And look at ukraine. Aircraft are now, more than ever vunerable. So bombs arent the big threat if you have a proper airdefence system(s).
Just like flares, chaff, and ECM were developed to protect planes from missiles, there will be developments to protect tanks from threats. The plane did not become obsolete when missiles were invented, they simply changed to fight them. Same goes with tanks.

Where does the crew enter and exit the tank?

APS??
does it get ammo racked by hitting the main gun and the shell penetrate to the back of the ammo?

Leopard 3 A.I. is next...
Its already integrated

Can the tank reload its missile?
no, it can't. The tank does carry only the the 1 rocket in the launcher.

Send to Ukraine for real battle testing
But if the Russians capture one, they will know its secrets.
Probably just a technology demonstrator
