Hi, The dog and phonograph on the mosaic mural is the RCA Victor logo with Nipper the dog. One of the RCA Victor headquarters was near the waterfront in Camden and had a tower with beautiful RCA Victor logo windows in stained glass on each side. It was lit up at night and cpuld be seen from Philly. The building is still there and was rehabbed into apartments, I think. At least one of the windows may be at the Historical society. It was actually a big thing for Camden.

Actually they have collaborated in each others videos in the past. But here's the coolest part - neither on of them put the other in the thumbnails or the titles of the videos they're in. You just have to have randomly been watching the videos to find them. So while it's been a while since they've been in a video together, it's not the first time.
Oh Adam, I'm so sorry you had to see this part of the city. I hope your next few days give you a better impression. We adopted our dog who was found wandering in Kensington so we gave him the middle name of Butkus after Rocky's dog. If you visit Laurel Hill you can see the prop headstones for Adrian and Paulie that are still there. Please also try John's Roast Pork for cheesesteak or roast pork. My husband and I get both and do a half and half split because they're both so good. Dalessandro's is must do, too. For sweets, Isgro's on Christian St. is the best! Try them, there's nothing bad on the menu! So excited you're here. Enjoy!

I know how much he respects you, and how you were the driving force for him to leave Boyds and showcase his love for Philly on RUclips.... But man on man, Camden? I'm from Jersey....if you were in Camden, the only good reason to be in Camden (ok, there are two), one is to visit Donkey's steaks. The mirror building is by a local Philly artist called Isaiah Zagar. He has a place on South Street called The magic garden. The Philly Captain has made videos about him.
Rocky is a fictional character portrayed in the movies as Italian American from South Philly. When you got your cheesesteak and danish (you should have ordered a cannoli) from Termini's you were in South Philly, where Rocky was supposed to be from. The scenes from the movie- house, pet store, boxing club, el are located in Kensigton, a central north/east neighborhood primarily Irish working class back in the day- now mostly hispanic. South Philly is (use to be) the Italian neighborhood and i cant believe that your friend did not take you to the famous outdoor Italian (9th St) Market where Rocky runs in the morning as the market comes alive. Its one of the most iconic scenes and you were literally within a 5 min walk when at Terminis. Kensington served as a location for the film shoot. The spirit of Rocky and the persona that Philadelphians identify with is in South Philly.
Adam nice to see different areas that I haven’t seen before and to see some of the Rocky filming locations was very interesting and I’m sure it must have been a treat for you to actually be at the different Rocky filming locations now as far as your cheesesteak sandwich it looked good but to be honest I wouldn’t know a good cheesesteak if it bit me in the rear so I’m glad you liked it now the steps you went up where Rocky himself stood was beautiful and the footage you got from the top of the steps down the street was awesome but I will say I love the way you ended the video going over the bridge thanks for a great day now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next awesome Adam the daily woo adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
I was there a few days ago with my wife and kids. We were unable to get out of the car at Rocky's apartment, it was so incredibly unsafe in the Kensington area. I never realized Rocky's apartment building was on the end of a row like that until seeing it. Still, very cool!
That was the best video. I like your friend's sense of humor. Rocky 1 came out in 1976. I remember we just got our drivers license's and were allowed to drive to the movies. Stallone was 30, we were 16. We're all senior citizens now. Ouch. The Chocolate Almond Horn is a German pastry that was popular at Christmastime. Great memories! Thanks Adam🦾❤🥰

Recovering from a mess brought on by their own stupidity. Eagles fans are just as bad as Ravens fans. Lmfao
Yeah with the World Series and the Super Bowl It must of felt like Rocky Balboa catching A Left,Right combination for the knock out twice in one year. I feel for ya but the Phillies and the Eagles are both great teams in their perspective sports and will probably both be right back in the thick of the Championship Fights for the upcoming 2023 seasons. So Good Luck.🍀
And Union though not a soccer fan but been a great year for sports here. Hope for Sixers but not holding my breath
@@lastchild6153 Haha Phillies n Eagles lost in a championship game
@@00001kbee Sixers suck
Yo !!!! Loved this plug The fighting city of Philadelphia You for sure get around Enjoy your channel very much
Great to see you two collaborating and meeting up. Also, beautiful weather for PA in February!
I’m in Maryland a couple hours from Philly and it was almost 70 the other day 😂 crazy!
I applaud you 👏 very interesting 👍love the movie locations then and now 👍
Ugh Philly and Camden stay safe not safe areas in some areas Adam! Hope you have a good time as a south Jersey girl glad u are visiting near our neck of the woods! Do love the Philly Cheesesteaks
It was great to see Dan . It's been way too long. Awesome video 👍☺️
Dan Bell "when it crashes, it flatlines"😆🤣😁😃, on the sweet van you were admiring 🤩...great video with you guy's
Dan Bell resembles the late WWF/E manager Paul Bearer "OHHHHHHH Yessss!!". Awesome video guys!!! 👏👏👍
I was born in Abington, a suburb. My grandparents are buried in Philly. I have been back one time and will NEVER go back unless they clean that disgusting city up. Sad that they have let a huge historical city just rot away.
We don't want u here anyway. We don't like ur negativity.
@@cherannn No negativity Cheryl, just stating fact. What's sad is people who live there have that attitude, instead of wanting to clean it up and make it beautiful again, would rather have the drug and homeless problem, nothing personal
Dan is so funny!! Love this collab.
Love seeing you in Philly!! I’ll be heading out there on Sunday to see the new Disney 100 exhibition. Hope you enjoy your stay 🥰 (and if you need any tips or recommendations we got plenty)
Rocky is my favorite!! Thanks Adam the WOO!! This was awesome!!
I frankly was shocked that you even drove down the worst and most dangerous street in Philly. I've seen videos of that area and it is appalling. I'm glad you made it through alive. I hope you don't go through there again. When you were filming that apartment house, you were drawing some attention. I'm surprised nobody came out and asked what the heck you were doing.
Even during the day like that it's a f'd up place ? I have lived a too sheltered life apparently , woo better be safe
Millions of people film the aprtment. They know what they were doing
I noticed how Adam didn't stand with his back directly to the door lol I was thinking I'd be scared of the door opening and being dragged inside.
I like Rocky’s Chuck Taylor’s Converse Tennis Shoes. The imprint is iconic Converse.
Great Vlog Adam!
