Well, if there's 1 good, tough lesson I've learned through some bad experiences -- like my 1st job, it's that, sometimes, we need to make difficult decisions that might hurt our hearts, but will eventually put our minds @ ease. And there are times when those decisions don't seem so difficult @ all, b/c they'll help bring peace to both our minds & hearts.
@@Lnerfan1 That would def. be a MISTAKE!!! After all, it's like that saying: "When people show you their true colors, always believe them the 1st time around."
It's good that Janet finally left Paulie, but did anyone else think that, at first, she seemed more upset at her family's anger at Paulie's abuse towards her than Paulie *ACTUALLY* abusing her?
I couldn’t agree more because if you are in an abusive relationship, leave right now while you still can. People have to be that shallow to think that people like Paul was doing there would change. That’s like trusting somebody that they would change when they cheated on you multiple times, that’s not a true marriage, it’s a nightmare. And always listen to your family when they know something isn’t right cause it could save your life and yourself from traumatic psychological damage.
@@DEAN_23 Well, its more like, the abuse destroys the victims self-esteem, making them feel like, no one wants them, so why leave? despite the abuse, it begins with the removal of any support, friends, family and then it leads to, subtle digs at the tiniest things and the abuser blames the abused for everything, little things in the beginning, to the point of where they don't even need to be blamed, they blame themselves....that is when the abuse really begins, they will never leave because they just can't handle the idea of being alone since they feel that no one will ever want them. Overall, domestic abuse, which can happen to men from women and from men to women, it is only wide spread as women as the victims of it, because men don't report it majority of the time to avoid the humiliation and mocking, but statistics do show that abuse of this type of thing is roughly 50-50, give or take. Men hit harder, but women hit more.
If someone is causing you trouble and showing you that they don't love you with their actions and behavior, leave that relationship immediately and find the strength within yourself to move on
Very good episode. Actors are really good at portraying the characters. And remember: If you feel the urge to rush into the scene and give Paulie a punch in the face, that means that he is a good actor!
I understand that maybe she didn’t want to upset her family? Or she was psychologically attached to the trauma of her marriage? But she deserves better than Paul. She made the right decision to leave him and say “enough is enough!”
Janet should have told her family about Paul's abuse straight away and divorced Paul the moment he cheated on her because it was obvious he never really loved her. I understand it was hard for her because deep down she still loved him, but she still behaved rather foolishly at first because if you don't speak up, things only get worse. At least she finally came to her senses at the end.
I understand Janet trying to make the marriage work because she took her vows seriously. But Paulie obviously never cared. She was right to leave that toxic relationship and remember her self worth.
Indeed!!! It's just like the moral I just claimed for this story: "Sometimes, we have to make decisions that'll hurt our hearts, but will eventually heal our minds."
Im glad janet did the right thing she so grateful for dad and brother she stood up to abusive husband janet deserves better what paulie did was disrespectful

If Paulie happens to storm into my place like this, he'll,i swear I'll let him get back home safe and sound after the hospital declared he's good to go. If I don't break both arms and legs he's amazingly lucky, disrespecting my sister, father after all the house and whole family
Illumeably should do one about cheerleaders with Evandra Aurelia, Jaime Gray, Dominique Renteria, Victoria Lachnit and Teagan Ramirez as the cheerleaders! It could be about a relationship between a cheerleader (Evandra Aurelia) and a football player (Sergio Diaz) and Victoria Lachnit and Teagan Ramirez could be Evandra's two friends and teammates and Jaime Gray could be the cheerleading captain and Dominique Renteria could be the co-captain and Alex Jason Lee-King could be Sergio's friend and teammate and David Ojakian as the football coach!
After that, they called the police on Paulie and he was sentenced to 40 years behind bars. Or however long they decided. And thousands upon thousands of hours of community service.
Thank God for her father and brother, she has those two right there who will always love her and protect her……I’m glad she left that toxic husband he was no good she deserves better then that.
Paulie was such an @$$. He abused Janet AND disrespects her family!? Ohhhh, he would've been sent to the Gulags. Tim was ready to throw down and ready to drop Paulie's butt for all the abuse he did to his sister, and Bobby, Janet's dad, was willing to do the same thing as Tim would've done to Paulie. I'm extremely glad that Janet ended things with Paulie; I cannot imagine how much longer Janet can withstand Paulie's madness. She seriously deserves someone better who can really treat her right.
Abuse is never okay and you should never use it as an excuse or EVEN use abuse to make you feel better about yourself and hurt your loved ones, no one deserves to be abused. If you’re getting abused please ask for help, DONT hold anything back say something now or you might regret not telling anyone sooner and if you don’t say anything sooner the abusing can get worser each day and won’t stop. I promise you won’t regret speaking up because if you believe in god he will always be by your side and help you when you need it.
I was always the same ways as Janet in the way she was in the beginning. I am learning the way too. I just wish I had an older sibling to help me, but I have my mom to back me up. So strong. Love this

My husband had an affair with a co-worker for nearly two years the last nine months of which I was pregnant with our second child. I found out about the other woman the week before my due date,I felt so terrible and moved back to my mother's home for 2 months with the kids after birth,he kept on apologizing to every member of my family and they all begged me to forgive him,I moved back to our home and I still had that feeling something was off, I felt deep down that I have been manipulated ,gaslighted, and threatened on a daily basis. Some of the threats were he was going to kill himself if I didn't do what was asked,he would punch pillow or sofa, stand up against me and yell at my face, stand behind the car and not let me leave, sometimes we would be driving and he would threaten to swerve and hit any truck ,hold me, shake me,push me aside to a wall, and much more,my in-law were also verbally abusive towards me. Wasn't allowed to visit my family or friends. If I did or wanted to I had to be ready for an argument, everyday I was reminded that I am nothing and that was not worth fighting for and that I don't meet the standard of being married to their son. Recently I found out he was cheating on me and had a girlfriend after seeing the text and pictures, I became numb. I have been a good wife. I listened to every insult and fight. I never gave up what I knew, thanks to this hacker who helped me extract enough information from his device.
