Drone footage of the historic flooding that resulted in Ellicott City, MD.
Residences say by the time they had warnings for the flooding it was too late.

Somewhat useful but jerky movements didn't help. Failed inspect the Ellicott historic district where all the media footage was captured in order to compare damage.
I would recommend dialing in some exponential to your yaw channel. Turing the rates down would also help.. Movements are just too fast, jerky and disorienting.. Also have a flight plan before you fly. So you dont have to spin around all crazy thinking of what you actually want to go see..
You guys need a new drone pilot hit me up. This person is horrible.
THE RIVER (Patapsco) DID NOT FLOOD!, the water was high but never flooded the town like in the past 200 plus years...... This flood and the last flood came from Over Development above the town! .....All the wooded areas have been removed, streams re-routed and building after building and house after house have been built....... There was a building freeze in this town for over 40 years.... It was lifted in 2012 and development began, so did the floods coming from up on top a hill where there was No Rivers, only little streams! ....again, the only river in this town DID NOT FLOOD, but the town sure did!

Ellicott City sits at the bottom of a deep gorge/ravine with a river at the bottom. Above Ellicott City are 4 large streams that ALL converge at the center of town, and trickle through tiny canals. This isn't the first, nor will it be the last time, that it gets flooded. If you live in downtown Ellicott City, or have a business there, it's time to move out. Let the place become a ghost town. If you choose to stay, expect the worse.
Ive lived in this town for 59 years....The last two floods came from on top of the hill, NOT FROM THE RIVER like the past 30 floods! ...... Over building up on top of the town is the cause!..... Follow the money to find who caused this for the second time!....Im gonna fly my drone here tomorrow , this footage is horrible

EC was built in 1700s as as a mill town on the river for water power. The 200 years after has been filled with urban spraw covering all the open fields and lands with housing and asphalt. No other place for the water to go but down into the streets into the town. Congratulation to the planning and zoning department of howard county. Lived here all my life and watched the bureaucrates screw things up with their stupid water control ideas and zoning allowances.
"Smart Growth". My Ass. The planning and zoning zombies should personally be held accountable. Oh Wait...they all live in mansions in Western Howard county. Safe, snug and no "Smart Growth" for them. Eastern Howard County? Paved Asphalt.
