    Just went fishing there today, crazy what it used to look like , I couldn’t imagine seeing it go through that change

    Liberty Reservoir played a huge part in my life when I was young. Fishing of course. Cutting school on a hot day and sneaking off to go skinny dipping ....

    I used to visit here frequently back in the 70s and took many photographs back then, but these are great classic photos! Thanx for sharing! I'll be sharing my photos as soon as I get them digitized and photoshopped. Thanx again!

    It's amazing to think of how much change has occurred. If you ever look at the area a small island denotes the area where the bridge used to cross into oakland mills... Between Oaklandmills and Conowingo there certainly are treasures to be found in historic pictures of maryland.

    The bridges shown in this video are on Liberty Rd / Rt 26 at the Baltimore Co ..Carrol County line.. between Randallstown Maryland and Eldersburg Md .. Exit 18 off the Baltimore Beltway....

    i saw no construction of the dam. how did they cut and finished ston used? was mortar used? when was the tower near the dam bult? i used to play on the dam with by brother when we were kids

    i live in the area and about a year ago we went look for all this stuff we found thomas melvilles foundation its behind the water shed. if u didnt know.

    The music is overkill. I'd rather hear a human voice explaining. Nice info. I hiked to the dam unexpectedly the other day.
