Have been using this one for Over three years in 3 gun competition , it has performed flawlessly with all kinds of shells ,mostly Armusa low brass and 1oz. Slugs for the 18x24 steel targets at 75 yards just opened the loading port and angle grind the forearm for speed loading , paid $690 and It definitely competes head to head with the $1,500- 3 ,000 similar models , no regrets and great investment.
Check out the Or3gun/SBE Precision products spacer and piston combo. The piston extends cleaning intervals to 1500 shells and beyond while the spacer prevents buildup of carbon and moisture that can cause corrosion, and reliability issues.
IMO ..... Money well spent.... Don't see how anyone could be disappointed with this gun ..... Very minimal recoil & eats everything I have fed it .... I guess I have reasonable expectations but I'm giving it a TEN !!!
Thanks for the great video and for staying on topic with no politics or other distractions. I am getting one, following your video. Wonder why they didn't include the rail though. Sounds like a silly idea.
Thank you. The rail does interfere with using the bead sight, they probably are assuming the target audience for this would be skeet/trap shooters who would not want it.
Good LORD, thank you for mentioning the forend flex. You may not notice it much or be distracting, but this is INEXCUSABLE on a martial firearm. There is ZERO support for the forend in the rear, right where I hold it to load. It's unnerving and stupid. Mossberg needs to step up their game on that part. I'm paying $700 for a loose forend?
I saw a used one in great shape at my local gun shop. It had the Oregun Three Gun upgrades installed. So I snapped it up. My first semi - auto , hoping to use it predator calling with number four buckshot.
Last night, I saw " Big Daddy " video, he experienced 7 out of 10 shots bad situation as the bullet shell didn't eject and jammed the up-coming bullet. Did it happen to you when you do the shootings ??
I have had zero trouble with this. Two things can cause that on an otherwise healthy gun. Weak rounds, especially low-brass shot, or not fully shouldering the gun and allowing it to kick back/up too much (which interferes with cycling).
Iv’e watched every video on this shotgun and every reviewer has pronounced Jerry’s last name differently. None were the way Jerry himself pronounces it.
The Benelli is definitely the nicer gun but the 930 has noticeably less recoil. The 930 uses gas to operate which consumes some of the recoil and the Benelli relies upon the recoil to cycle so you feel it more.
Bought mine 3 yrs ago never missed a beat absolutely love it.
I have this same model and i love it.no problems with it at all.it eats everything i feed it

i just picked this up today and looking forward to taking it out.
Mossberg and JM have a real winner here! Can't wait to see one in person.
You just talked me into getting one. ! Nice clear photography.

I will check that out.
I was looking at one of these yesterday at Point Blank. Thanks for making this video. Perfect timing for me.
This is a fun shotgun to shoot and I think you will enjoy one if you get it.
@@HammerStriker , i just ordered one from my LGS, would you trust your life with it?
@@BorderlineStrength And? Was it dependable? Precise? Quality?

@@HammerStriker Thank you for the clarification. That makes sense.
Picked up a lnib one today for $575. Looking forward to shooting it.

I am going to give this a try: Or3gun forearm retainer
I'm liking the price for what it comes with.
Get the Or3gun forearm retainer it eliminates the annoying forearm play.
I really want this shotgun but everything is sold out it really hard to buy guns
I was able to purchase one today from Sportsman Warehouse
got one used 5 months ago for $450

glad I did before it got crazy on the prices
Handsome and heavy.
3:08 What is that black pin looking thing right on the loading port and right beside the shell elevator ?
How is the best
930 spx
930 jm pro
Can I put a 28 inch barrel on this safely? Downsides?
Yes Hammer please take it apart.
This thing is great for hunting pigs in southeast Texas!
If I install a rail and use 930 rear sight, can I change the 930 JM Pro front sight to 930 front sight ??
I think that the holes are different, but Mosssberg customer service would likely be the best source of an accurate answer.
Can anyone recommend a good cleaning kit for this.
And how about a good sling set up???

@@HammerStriker But in his video, he was using a brand new ! On the other hand, I am wondering if the ammo is not compatible ... ??
Superrrrrrrr!
Can this be turned into 18.5” barrel and still use the ext tube?
Mossberg themselves can give you an absolute answer, but in most cases you can but the tube may stick out past the muzzle.
@@HammerStriker ty will give em a call
Is the trigger guard polymer or alloy?
This one is alloy.
On the Mossberg loaded when you press the bolt release button does the shells pile up and get stuck loading port?
This one has not malfunctioned at all.
Yes it does. It’s not a malfunction but more of a safety feature.
I can not hear in this clip video.

How is the recoil between this and your benelli ethos ?
