That's wild!!! Compared to previous where you could literally leisurely stroll through the middle of the road, and all you would get is the occasional grunt or building turret.
Still needs to be crazier barely survivable after 5 star. If you kill enough have adam smasher just land in the street would be nuts
This is NIGHT and DAY frok cyberpunk pre 2.0. One of my biggest issues with cyberpunk was the police system and here it has been vastly improved
Love that they add that when you hold 1 2 or 3 they do the cool animation for wepons :D

Wow, you're my man! Seriously, I've wasted like 2 hours trying to find ANY video that properly showcases the vehicle damage changes, and unbelievably enough this is the first one. What I'd be curious still is what happens if you shoot/punch only the extremities of the chassis of the vehicle - does it still take damage and explode eventually, suggesting that the vehicles have a single float as health? Or does it work in a GTA fashion and cars only explode/break down if you hit the central parts of the car like the engine?

@@theonetruefusky7681 sure they do, but only the critical part(s) of the car. I tested it extensively in GTA V, and you can beat up the cars with melee, or even shoot the chassis as long as you want, and the car will continue to work perfectly. :) On the other hand, you can break a car quite fast if you hit the engine, or even with two bullets, if you hit the gas tank, and then shoot the ground where the spilled gas is.
@@leakyabstraction The NightCity cars do not have a critical part to disable with exception of the tires, which makes the vehicle difficult to drive/chase. Otherwise, there is an unknown HP level, per car, that once reached explodes the vehicle.
Glad i took the time. Can't wait to play it for the first time after this update!

Maxtec now just feels like a death screen. Its like going into black water as arthur morgan.
100% if you dont run away and you are low level you will die. If you have a build that can't sustain you against a lot of damage through either healing or dodging you will also die. Also if you arent killing them fast enough the enemies will just build up until you get killed in a litteral second if you stand still.

A completely different game. This is so cool!!!
The sidewinder itself makes you a literal slaughterhouse in vehicle combat (no need for the Samum or the Hellhound)
It's so good now. Just wish the FOV was better when driving cars first person, but I'm sure a mod will fix that.

as a melee build you can easely kill maxtac but your worst nightmare is the mantis blade maxtac as she can cut you in half faster then the rest can
imagine do police sequence like this in VR mod. that might be so chaos

I beat this game twice when it was released, is it really worth playing still ? Lmk
Looks very solid! IMO it takes a little too much of carnage to get to 5 stars - I'm not sure if you'd get so high in casual play unless you specifically went there to do it, and the way armor works in cyberpunk made you either take 1 damage or ~40-60 per bullet which made your health really choppy (getting shot full auto by regular police? barely any damage. Something-but-I-don't-know-what? 20-30% health gone in one shot).
I wonder how well are these mechanics integrated with Phantom Liberty (are you going to be left in open world post mission to avoid 4/5 stars GTA-style or something?), and how well it works when you are trying to avoid cops (hiding / "respraying" / changing car mechanics).
There seem to be a good balance of car vs car and person vs person options - the heavy cars with guns & roadblocks for when you flee in a car, and the air drop (or "robocops") for when you are on foot.
Looks cool. Next step airbourne vehicles and tanks pls cdpr.

There is some huge bug with weight. I simply cannot get rid of it, I'am like 600 more than available.

Is the bots set to "easy" or something here? They really don't seem that threatening, considering that they miss every shot even though you're standing right infront of them and they don't seem to fire from a "long distance", maybe 30+ meters?

Will get the update once I know what to expect from what I am paying for. I thought they would release many DLCs, but .. bummer its just one.
They have a bunch of DLC that are free. This is an expansion that changes the game and adds around 30 hours extra of content
The update is free genius. The dlc is paid. They are not the same thing.

Is there a way to not just survive max level but beat it? Because you can just run away and wait and call it a win at any level. But what if you actually survive each wave?
is this even in the game? I mean the Maxtac operators.. I had maxed out police chase and I was killing cops for like half an hour expecting them to come but they never came.. Then I got bored and left

Games aren't on disks, it's not 2002. Disc's are just license keys proving you bought the game, then the game is downloaded from internet.
Cyberpunk was my goty choice back then at launch, doubting it never crossed my mind!

No. You're wrong. The luxury cars with crystal dome, but NO mounted weapons can not engage in combat.
Crystal dome prevents handheld weapon use. Most cars with it have mounted weapons, but not all.
Why the hell are there infinity ammo inside the vehicle?

It's simply better than any version of gta, now I want to see if the bad-character channels will make comparisons
I tested the max wanted, I have managed to kill 4 groups of 4 max tac in a row. They INSTANTLY drop new max tac when the entire group dies. It was just a giant waste of time.
In my game they have infinite health. I dropped them like several times an d performed executions but they wouldn’t die, not sure if this is intended or if they’re just SUPPOSED to end you.
I don’t think it helps if you’re chrome the hell up

You get the Edgerunner perk and overload your cyberware and you can go psycho if it procs
@@Jettatura-yn8ss what does going psycho look like? Does the player lose control and just spectate until the nervous system of the player regains control?
Just imagine, it activates and you watch your player gouge out eyes and rip off limbs from people as you lose control and spectate a slaughter. 🤣 I doubt cd project red went this far but just imagine!?!
@@AiShadowyGuy nah, not that good. It's a buff with a screen effect. The cost of using more cyberware than your tolerance is a subtraction to your health based on how over you are.

Oh, they've finally managed to pull a functional game out of that embarrassment. Good for them, i guess.
Whenever i can get the whole thing for $20 I'll give it a try.

@@izaak7513 Are you smoking or what!? The missing features on launch was so embarrassingly bad. I played CP2077 on launch on PC. The amount of immersion breaking bugs was just off putting.
@@conyo985 I played on PC during launch as well and had one bug in the prologue and nothing after that. If people didn't get overhyped about the game reception would have been fine.
@@izaak7513 That's the thing though. CD Projekt Red really hyped this up. I remember the number of delays this game faced back in 2020. The number of trailers that promised a lot then a bunch of those features that never made it in the game.
I'm planning to replay CP2077 just because of the update 2.0. At least the cops are functioning properly this time. And the vehicle combat I can see myself having fun with it.
Max tac are so lame and boring all they do is hack your car and teleport out of thin air in a air ship because the devs were incompetent they couldn't give them vehicle a.i most boring cop system ive ever seen

Uh no. Gta has been played and played again for the last 10 years. It’s gotten boring, even though it’s a very good game, I really can’t play it for more than a few minutes now.
I've actually had more fun in cyberpunk than any gta
