When you understand that you already are all that there is, you then inevitably see that there is nothing to pursue.

This is so deep, that only truly realized human beings could really comprehend.
So deep it has no measurable depth
These videos work like a free of cost therapy for me. I am from India and he said it correct that here from childhood onwards we are taught that god is everywhere and in everyone but what i feel is that knowing is one thing and living in that way is one thing. Like we all know that honesty is the best policy but only very few of us implement this in our real life. In similar way here in India everyone knows that there is god in everyone but only very few will truly see it and treat themselves and others in that way in a more decent way. But when I hear Alan watts i can truly see the god in myself and others. He is like a mentor to me. Truly amazing.
The difference between knowledge and experience is the very reason behind the creation of the universe. God became man to experience what He/She/It always knew, otherwise His/Her/Its knowledge would have remained only conceptual. Thus, you can see that knowledge without experience has no creative value whatsoever.
