the MARS LTV is lightweight and compact, button layout excellent, with options to flip between contrast and white/black hot. In the Thor 5 this all has to be done via the carousel menu. There is no microphone on the LTV, but do you need it? The LTV requires cantilever mounts due to short mounting space unless using an AR platform or short/micro action, which are supplied in the box(alu type). The Thor 5 comes with LRF option. The Thor is a much longer unit with gadgets and widgets, but very good clarity and video/sound. If you want easy to use, reliable and just 'turn on and shoot' - the LTV is your friend.
What were your moon conditions. Without the moon, mine won’t show anything.
Thanks so much for the info and quick response. I was thinking the same (about the LTV). Will probably pull the trigger on this later in the week !
How much price this thermal scope in dollars.
Can't believe there are no comments ?? Help me decide between the LTV and other Thor 5 units ?? Thanks !!
